Hotel Aniene is very good comparing price and quality. Location is OK, you have 400m to metro station and it takes 20 minutes to get to Colosseo. Stuff is very kind and helpful, breakfast is OK, not great but enough selection for everybody. Room are not that big, but they are clean and cozy. Room window was directly above the... More

Room super small, no hot water sometimes, very noisy, dirty blood-stained sheets, have to pay for e-net, breakfast very basic and didn't feel too comfortable walking at night to and from the metro station. The street where the hotel is located is full of stinky/smelly trash dumpsters everywhere, not a nice street plus a few winos between the hotel and... More

This was my second trip to Rome and second time at this hotel. My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights in June 2013 and I stayed with my mum and aunty for 3 nights, 25th-28th September 2014. Booked a triple room, through Hotels.com, for a very reasonable price. The property had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, reliable wifi,... More

Courteous staff, great location and outstanding breakfast. Good value of money. Shops near the hotel where you can have cheaper beers and the traditional "gelato". My future choice for the next trip in Rome.

This could have been an outstanding 2 star hotel but they've chosen to be a poor 4 star instead. They offer a range of services but don't do any of them very well, the one exception being the excellent breakfast. The area, despite appearances, is okay and there are very good restaurants nearby. It is near the metro station and... More

My husband and I stayed here 18-21 July. The rooms are small, and the hotel looks quite modern on first impression. However, on closer inspection there was a dirty footprint on the ceiling (I'm not sure how!) and there was 'stuff' on the walls- I'm not sure what that was either. The TV does not have any English channels- I... More

A pleasant hotel with friendly staff. 5 minute walk to subway, 15 minutes to downtown. Not much in immediate vicinity of hotel. Small room, tiny bathroom with tinier shower. A little bit of mildew collected in corners of shower. Overlooking a moderately busy street. I had a room in front; some street noise with windows open but not with windows... More

We stay here for 4 nights in june 2014. Pozitive aspects: near the metro station, easy acces to city center, quiet area, good breakfast, clean room, pretty good size; Negative: no window , so no light and humidity, no balcony in our room; So pretty good value for money, but it isn't a 4 stars hotel.

I stayed at this hotel from 11th to 13th June 2014, it was a great little hotel about 45 mins away from Fiumicino airport. The rooms are comfortable and clean, although the bathroom could do with an upgrade as it was a little mouldy and some of the paint was starting to peel. The breakfast was good with eggs, cereal,...
