the hotel is no way a 4 stars hotel. But that is not the main point. The room was extremely small, very ruined and dirty. Dead insects on the towels, mould in the bathroom and on the walls, broken tv.

Since we booked this hotel through Wowcher we did not expect much and knew it was further from central Rome than would be ideal. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly giving us lots of information and directing us to a lovely little local Italian restaurant about 3 doors from the hotel. The wifi worked fine when we were there... More

We stayed here from the 7th -9th feb 2015, really wish we had not,we arrived at around 4pm,as we were being driven to the hotel it was evident that the hotel was located in a very rough part of rome, all the buildings were covered in graffiti, there were large dumpster type bins overflowing everywhere, its not a place you want to walk... The first thing you'll notice is the area, lot of bins, lot of scruffy bars and in general a very run down place. A bonus is that it's very close to the station and once you enter you feel a bit at ease. The staff are very helpful and nice, we had a twin room. The room was small but... More

I booked this hotel through wowcher so was not expecting much but staff were so nice and friendly. Went with my sister and mum and we loved our stay. Spotless rooms and the power shower better than my own shower at home. Yes there is graffiti in surrounding area but I'm afraid that's pretty much everywhere in rome. The hotel... More

We were a party of 3 couples and only paid 3 £160 including our flight for a 3 night stay. This was good value for money but would not have paid any more due to the location of the Hotel. The area around the hotel does like scruffy but we didn't feel comfortable walking to or from the metro. Our rooms... More

I've been with my wife to visit Rome between 13th-18th of november. The location of this hotel is about 30 minutes far from the Center of Rome, traveling by metro. By first entering the hotel, the impression was clear- it's not a 4 star. The wi-fi was not working only downstairs. The elevator was operating from time to time, and... More

Hotel Aniene is very good comparing price and quality. Location is OK, you have 400m to metro station and it takes 20 minutes to get to Colosseo. Stuff is very kind and helpful, breakfast is OK, not great but enough selection for everybody. Room are not that big, but they are clean and cozy. Room window was directly above the... More

Room super small, no hot water sometimes, very noisy, dirty blood-stained sheets, have to pay for e-net, breakfast very basic and didn't feel too comfortable walking at night to and from the metro station. The street where the hotel is located is full of stinky/smelly trash dumpsters everywhere, not a nice street plus a few winos between the hotel and... More
