We went on a family trip to Rome and staid at Romeo al Babuino on a recommendation from a friend that had staid there before - it could not have been more perfect in regard to location, upscale amenities (rain shower head :), privacy from hotel staff and other guests, and it was nice and roomy for 3 travelers with... Romeo al Babuino is perfectly located between the Spanish steps and the Piazza del Popolo. It is in the heart of the upscale shopping in Rome. The "hotel" sneaks up on you with a small sign and a confusing entrance. It is actually one floor of an apartment building but do not let that deter you. The pwner Giulio has... More

We booked two of the rooms (Anna and Armanda) for ourselves and my wife's parents. The rooms were modern and very spacious. Both had separate seating areas and large beds. The only negative was the shower in the Anna suite, which was very small and left the floor wet after each use. Some street noise could be heard during the... More

Our trip to Rome was made so much more enjoyable by having a place as comfortable as the Romeo al Babuino to return to in the evenings! The Amanda suite is large and spacious, with high ceiling and a separate sitting area. Our request for an extra bed was readily accomodated and all 4 of us could fit comfortably. Ideally... More

We stayed in the Armada suite for 9 nights. Great windows, spacious, clean and safe. We simply loved the idea that we had our own key to this small appartment building. Made us feel at home. The street is busy enough and we felt very safe in this neibourghood. We are used to traveling so did not need the help... More

We stayed there for 3 nights. The location is perfect since it is very close to the Spanish Steps (5 minutes walk), Piazza del Popolo (2-3 minutes walk) and generally to the main area of Rome’s historic centre. The suite was quite spacious, very clean with a great modern décor and a nice shower. You feel that you are staying... More

My wife and I were extremely pleased with the accommodations offered at Romeo al Babuino. Being our first trip to Rome, we did not want to pay a lot to see an overpriced hotel; we wanted to see Rome! This was the perfect place. Located in the heart of Rome in a "boutique" section between the famous Spanish Steps and... More

My husband and I (still getting used to saying that) just came back from Italy on our honeymoon. We stayed at the Romeo al Babuino and were just thrilled with the location and how accomadating everyone was to us. After we told them it was our honeymoon, they gave us a little bottle of bubbly to celebrate. Before we left... More

Just returned from a 3 nights stay at Inn Romeo and what an amazing experience we had! The suite is located in an excellent location with many shops and restaurants close by. In addition, it is also close to the Spanish steps and also within waking distance to two metro stations. The rooms are very nice and clean and there... More

Romeo al Babuino is a lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location. Our room (suite Armanda) was large, with a wonderful shower, big windows overlooking the lovely street outside, and was extremely comfortable. But the best part was the amazing help we got from Giulio, the manager. Our Citibank card was eaten by an ATM en route from the airport... More
