The guest house in an old apartment but part of the guest house renewed located 4th and 5th floors. Apart from Vatican most of the places are in walking distance. The room that we stayed in was a suite, big enough, and comfortable. Most important point is, though hotel in a main street there was no noise disturbance once closed... More

Everything from start to finish was fantastic. We were in Rome for 1 night before catching a flight home so we wanted somewhere within walking distance from the station but also a good location for places to eat and see a little bit of Rome. When we arrived the very friendly lady explained that we had been upgraded to a... More

I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. Everything in the hotel is modern, fresh and clean. Our room overlooked the main road but window sufficient to stop noises. Breakfast was lovely (tea, coffee, juice, toast, fruit, croissants, cake, biscuits, yoghurt) and rosi made me feel very welcome and answered my questions. Great location for transport links to repubblica... More

A lovely little B&B right in the center of Rome with walking distance to all the sites. The room was very comfortable and we had a good rest. Wifi signal was excellent in the room and the speed very good. We also had a big flat tv with a choice of satellite stations. The staff extremely helpful and forthcoming. The... More

We are here now- Rosie is extremely helpful. Very good central location. Staff very attentive. Clean, smart rooms. Bed is huge. They were able to add a bed to the room for our son for a small charge. They can also arrange for a driver to pick you up from the airport. Good breakfast. Good Irish pub just a few... More

Stayed here for Valentines weekend in 2015. First thing that struck me was the very old fashioned lift, if you didn't like lifts, you had a 5 floors worth of steps to walk up, and believe me, after a day of walking around rome, it's the last thing you want to come back to. The location is brilliant! Everything is... More

Stayed here for 6 nights last July. Was travelling solo so I found the room spacious enough. Very clean and modern in fit out and the bed very comfortable, just like the photos. Good location to walk to train station or walk around the city and sights such as Colosseum, Victor Emmanuel monument, Fori Imperial, Capitoline Hill, Roman Forum, Piazza... More

I loved this little guest B&B hotel, only a few rooms, but on the 4th floor there was no noise and nice corner room with a small fridge and hot water pot ( tea & coffee provided in your room ). The TV was nice ( we only watched the weather, but they did have English language channels available. It's... More

We stayed at Nazionale 51 for about 4 nights during our stay in Rome. Rome was our first stop in our Italy trip. I booked Nazionale 51 because the pictures posted by other tourists show the room to be clean and new, and the location of the hotel is pretty central. The rooms turned out exactly as what the photos... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
