We booked with Suite Dreams for our recent stay in Rome. Whilst this place is labelled as a hotel, it is more of a boutique B&B with only about 9 rooms. The rooms are very modern and clean and there is a very spacious shower and extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast is simple and just what you need in order to... More

Haven't got a bad word to say about this place. Turned up late at night to be informed our room had been upgraded. The room was large and clean, with a small inexpensive mini bar and was well designed. Great automatic blinds that completely blacked out the room for an amazing sleep! Would definitely stay if visiting Rome again.

We stayed in Italy for 2 weeks, including 5 nights at Suitedreams, and it was our favorite hotel of the trip. It is very small, with only maybe 6 rooms or so, but the hotel provides all that is important to travelers. Including the best shower we've experienced anywhere! Also Wifi was very easy to use and reliable. Breakfast was... More

The hotel was a close walk to the central train station, the room was very clean, modern and the staff was knowledgeable and attentive. Its not very easy to find and when you do find it you must buzz in to get through the door. The actual hotel is on the second floor.

We slept comfortably each night. Our room came with modern furniture and layout, comfortable bed, and to our delight was the spacious shower. Please don't get me wrong, it wasn't a shower where you can dance there but it was spacious enough. The breakfast wasn't fancy but we liked it simple.

The hotel is located in an area close to Termini and to metro stations. It's very clean, the stuff is very polite. They welcomed us late at night (very late check in).The water is provided every day for free. They also provide city map. The wifi is free. The day of our departure they kept our luggage in a safety... More

After a terrifying taxi ride, we received a warm welcome at reception and we were shown to our rooms. We booked two superior rooms and both were spacious, clean and fresh with everything we needed to be comfortable for our 3 night stay. The breakfast was included and all fresh pastries, toast cereal and a selection of cold meat. Good... More

Great hotel.Loved the small "lift" (elevator), reminded me of old 50's romantic movies! .Very nice staff. Clean rooms w/ stocked,mini-fridge! WiFi in room. Weather was nice so we slept with the floor to ceiling french door windows open. A little noisy at night but no worse than staying in any other downtown city hotel. Great location, close to Metro, lots... More

***I have to start by advising do NOT take any dodgy taxis! We got off the Terravision at Termini station and were greeted by a seemingly lovely older man asking us if we needed a taxi to our hotel. As we had no idea how to get to the Suite Dreams we accepted but at his car we noticed his... More

Clean, comfortable, great location; everything we wanted! We stayed for 3 nights on our short break. Perfect location for public transport; Repubblica metro 2 minutes walk away, Termini station 5 minutes walk. Plenty of shops right on the doorstep and just wandered out in the evening to find places to eat and never had to walk for more than 5... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
