Near the train station, good neighborhood with lots of food options, within walking distance to the major attractions. Ultra Modern rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff, free strong wifi. It is the only place I have ever stayed in Rome, but I have no reason to ever look elsewhere,

This hotel was perfect for our trip to Rome. We stayed one night and if need be we would have stayed another night. The room was clean and modern. The staff was very informative and allowed us to rest in the sitting room even after we checked out. They held our bags in a safe place during our sightseeing. The... More

We had a wonderful stay in Suitedreams. It is situated at a convenient location near the subway station and on walking distance to major sightseeing destinations (15-20 minutes walk). Near to shopping area and easy to find food. The room is modern and comfortable. Help desk is 24 hours. Although it is close to subway, we prefer to walk to... More

Hotel lovely clean and central but very hard to find at first! No sign outside, says hotel Alles above door but if you look at buzzer on right hand side the hotel occupies 2 levels of the building! It's also near McDonald's if you feel very lost! Also I'm not good at reading the small print, city tax is only... More

We have just returned from a 4 night stay in suite dreams. We absolutely loved the hotel! It's in in a building with other hotels in it but there was no noise from the building itself. Occasional noise from outside early in the morning but we think this was bin men and it didn't wake us. The bedrooms was clean,... More

Dear Letsmarti, Thank you for your kind review. You made the right choice! The only important location that is hard to visit by foot from our Hotel is Vatican City, which is reachable with a 10-15 minutes trip with subway. All other touristic places (Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, Colosseo, Via del Corso, Piazza Navona) are on walking... More

Me and my partner stayed here to celebrate my birthday. We decided to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel instead of using public transport it was around €45. The hotel is on a back street and not very noticeable, there is a tiny sign that says it's name but we got there ok. On arrival you have... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
