My husband and I have been staying at the Residence Prati at least once a year for almost a decade. The cozy apartments in the Residence Prati have a hip, understated atmosphere. Although no one would call the hotel luxurious, in the elevator you may bump into a film producer or tall blonde model who is scheduled to appear on RAI TV. The rooms are tremendously comfortable, the bathrooms are wonderful, and the service rivals any we've experienced in a five star hotel. The location is remarkable, in that Residence Prati is situated in a quiet, middle class, primarily residential neighborhood in Rome. You feel like you are truly living in Rome when you sit on the balcony of your apartment. There is a fabulous outdoor market, several great restaurants, and Rome's best pasticceria within a few blocks of the hotel, and Piazza del Popolo is a 15-20 minute walk across the river. more
