I booked this hotel with Travelocity in February 2015 for a June 2015 stay. We received a call from Travelocity a week prior to our reservation saying there was a problem and to call. I immediately called Travelocity and the representative said there was no problem we were prepaid and all was fine. When our taxi dropped us off in... More

I have been many times in Rome as a visitor, and I have stayed in different kinds of structures over the years, from quality hotels to self catering apartments. We stayed in the green room and it was a nice size for Rome's standards. The room was quite clean and best of all was very quiet! The double glazed window... More

Domus Borgognona is not a hotel. You have to open 2 gates and take a lift upstairs where there are 5-6 rooms with tiny facilities. There is no proper reception. Continental breakfast is very average. You only pay to be 100 m. from the Spanish steps.

This is a B&B and not a hotel. It is in a great location near the Spanish Steps and the owners are very helpful and accommodating. However, the room we stayed in had a strong musty smell and when you open the window, the smell became worse. The toilet was literally half under the sink so one must sit sideways... More

We stayed as a family in February for a short break. Domus Borgognona is more of a B&B than a hotel. It is in an excellent location very close to Spagna Metro which made it very convenient for sightseeing around Rome. Most places are actually walking distance, but for families with small children the access to the Metro is great.... More

Our family depends on Trip Advisor and I'm the first to rave about a great property, as I have in the past. However, our experience at Domus Borgognona after we checked in December 24, 2013 was unforgetable and I want to forewarn other Trip Advisor families. My husband did the exhaustive research on hotels in Rome and had made two... More

I stayed here with my husband and two teenagers. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and had everything we could need for our break. Bruno was so helpful and could not have been nicer. He organised our taxi to and from the airport and gave us loads of tips to make our stay perfect. We had a wonderful holiday and... More

Very small (4 room) boutique hotel. Stayed here with my family, took two of the four rooms, one single and one two room suite. Rooms large by Italian hotel standards beautifully appointed. Service very good, owner Bruno very helpful with several arrangements, nice breakfast served in room. Location perfect, almost at the foot of the Spanish steps. Would stay here... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
