Maybe and I say maybe it was a 4 stars 30 years ago. Now it is comparable to a new 2 stars. The position is the only good thing they've got. Rooms are big, but very very old. The staff is made by a lady on her 60's that is shouting no stop to the 2 Indian working there. She... More

My husband I enjoyed a stay here in September 2014 - we appreciated the helpful and friendly staff and the fact that one of the owners works in the hotel. 24 hour front desk. This small (7 room) hotel is quaint and a little quirky - including shuttered windows that we could leave open at night, interesting and clean marble... More

Rooms are old and dusty. It seems that the furnitures and tends have never been removed and cleaned from their first installation. But the worst are the lobby, the lift and the breakfast room. I've never seen anything so disgusting and badly organized. The cups were dirty and the food seemed displayed there the dawn of time. The staff, badly... More

This hotel is a little unorthadox but once you get used to the "quirks" you realise it really isn't that bad considering the price and location. Location could not be more perfect if you plan on seeing the sights of Rome by foot, equally short distance from the Pantheon and Castel Sant'Angelo (in opposite directions) we used a taxi only... We booked well ahead and arrived at 20.45, tired after our journey but looking forward to a planned evening in central Rome. The receptionist, who spoke little Italian and not much English, asked us to wait in the lobby while he went into the street to talk on his cellphone (the hotel's website gives no phone number). After about 30... More

A lovely little hotel, in a fantastic position. You are near to all the sights and is a great place to find excellent places to eat in the evening. Rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean, although there is no shower and the bath water could have been hottter after a long day walking around this wonderful city. There... More

Good location in central Rome, walking distance to Pantheon, Colloseum etc. Decent room and bathroom size but bizarrely no shower curtain which made for wet floor. Poor breakfast, staff would only serve in bedroom, we would much have preferred a dining room self service. Most terrible scrambled and fried eggs I have had misfortune to encounter - don't think I... More

Stayed here for 3 nights early May. Location is excellent for easy walking to the Vatican (10 mins), Piazza Navona (5), Pantheon (10) and much more. Reception stay very friendly and helpful although not everyone was comfortable with English (But I'm not good in Italian either). Very had a large room (#6) on the 3rd floor at the front of... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
