My wife and I and our daughter, her husband and our granddaughter stayed 3 nights in June of this year. The location is excellent (Just behind the Vatican) and is just a few blocks from 2 of the subway terminals. The rooms are small (there are only 4-5 rooms to the B & B but the beds are nice and... Just back from 3 nights staying at the Ideal B & B. I would suggest that the owners put up a sign outside the apartment block so that the the B & B is easier to find. We arrived at night, getting off the Metro and you can't see any street signs. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, Francesco and his... More

We visited Rome as a family and booked this B&B via one of the many hotel web sites. I would agree with other reviewers on the first impressions: even our taxi driver was surprised when we pulled up at an apartment block. The B&B is in fact a large apartment with 3 guest bedrooms. We were greeted by Francesco, who... More

We stayed at Ideal B & B for the last 3 nights of an 8 day trip to Italy. The place was quite surprising to us - first impressions - "Where are we - in someone's apartment?!" made way to - it's actually very pleasant! On arrival the lady looking after the place was very helpful as we had to... More

At the beginning it was hard to find, once you spot the apartment building, get in take your left towards the elevator and get to the 4th floor..second door to your left..very quiet, very clean, at walking distance from markets, subway, gelateria, restaurants, and the Vatican. Hot beakfast every morning..Augusto is a great host. Thanks for everything!

Tholese are my "ifs": - No dinning room! Breakfast is served on a small terrace on tables barelly big enough for 2. We are family of 3. There is only one chair and no dinning table in a room, so better hope for a nice weather. - Marble flour. Nice to look at, cold to walk on. Sleepers are a... More

My wife and I stayed with our 2 children aged 14 and 8 at the time. The room was very clean and more spacious than I thought. Gabrielle made our stay wonderful, she was truly a host. She was very helpful with all of our traveling needs. The breakfasts were delicious, and plentiful, much more than a typical continental breakfast.... More

We stayed here because it was close to the Vatican as we were going to the Canonisation. The place was on the 4th floor of an apartment building. It was like they converted one apartment into 4 tiny cupboards that they dared to call rooms. Honestly it was so small. The door had to open out into the corridor because... More
