This B&B is an excellent option for who wants to stay near of Vatican and to visit things near around. The Madam who cares the place is very friendly and welcoming. I would like a lot and I would like to turn here!

This b and b was reasonably priced and well placed and quiet. Just one minute from the nearest Metro station on Line A which take you to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain and also tram and bus stops nearby. The room was clean and a good size for two female travellers lots of hot water in the shower which was... More

We didn't stay in the main B&B but in one of their satellite apartments around the corner. We both really liked this as it felt like we had our own apartment in Rome. The room had an nice en suite shower room and also a small kitchen area with kettle and fridge- which was a pleasant surprise. It was cleaned... More

The room was a decent size for two people but the bed wasnt comfortable (it was two singles put together-there was a gap) also there isn't enough hot water for two people to shower one after the other (we took turns morning/evening). The floors weren't very clean and the shower smelled of mildew.--but the location is really convenient.

The Alex B&B was in a great location. We stayed in one of the rooms at the Via Germanico location which was 2 blocks away from the Subway. The Vatican City was also only minutes away. We prefered staying near the Vatican instead of in the centre of Rome. As long as the subway was close by, you can get... More

This place seems to have two parts - a more traditional B&B and a handful of vacation apartments nearby. We got one of the vacation apartments and loved it. Large bed, good-sized bathroom, plenty of space, and a mini-kitchen. All of this in a quiet building (on Via Ottaviano, but we had a view of the courtyard) 2 blocks from... More

This wonderful B&B is located just minutes from the Vatican (2 blocks). It is also easily accessible by the Metro Line A. This Italian family owns a couple of apartments in this area. We stayed at the Germanico location. Our room was equiped with our own private bathroom. It was clean and very spacious (for European standards). Breakfast was ready... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
