Scipioni Suites is a nice, affordable place to stay if you're taking a vacation or weekend trip to Rome. There is free Wi-Fi, a TV, and an on-suite bathroom in each room. Fresh croissants are brought to you from the bakery next door every morning. Great location being right by the metro station. Paola is very helpful as well!

All I can say is wow! We expected just to be tenants in a rental apartment, and boy were we wrong. Paola was amazing. She met us upon arrival and explained to us how best to fit 11 of us in the apartment (which was very comfortably btw). She helped us understand the city and neighborhood and marked up a... More

This B&B is located in an apartment building with no signage outside. It is on the 2nd floor, and has 4 suites owned by a lovely lady Paola Mazzola (romamazzola@yahoo.it). Since we booked through sleepingrome.com, we were given the name Vatican Suites, which is in the same building, but not the same B&B! Paula comes to check you in upon a... More

I had a wonderful time staying at Scipioni suites a couple of weeks ago. I found Paola to be a wonderful and cheerful hostess and source of information and good advice about how to best enjoy Rome. I took her advice and had a fantastic time! Some days I walked 8 hours a day, I got lost many, many times... More

Amazing apartment exceeded our expectations. Great location, in a safe and quiet region of Rome, only 2 minutes away from nearest metro station, and some 5 minutes from Vatican, allowed us to not waste any time on needless travel, and has greatly enhanced our experience of Rome. Place is nice, cosy and very clean, and services provided were great and... More

This year we were in Roma for the fourth time. As usually we had a great time, as we love Roma. But this year we had an additional chance : we stayed at the Scipioni Suites. This B&B fulfilled all our requests. A really pleasant and quiet small studio with in-suite kitchen and shower. All what we were looking for... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
