Place was very clean, owners were beautiful and so friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights and although the location is not the best ,the value for Money was excellent. Food provided was amazing and the little touches were very welcome. Well done Sergio and Caterina on providing a truly top budget stay

Our 1 week in this B&B was absolutely enjoyable. Nothing fancy, you get a nice, clean room and your own bathrrom, which was also remarkably clean. Nothing looks old or worn. A small LCD TV, WLan. The only thing you share with the other guest(s) is the kitchenette for breakfast, where you can make your own coffee, tea etc. and... More

We spent a wonderful week in Rome in B&B Alla Cupola Di San Pietro. First of all, location&transport. Although city centre is accessible (1-1,5 hours to Colosseum, Termini etc), there are bus stops just in front and metro station (~25 minutes away). We adored being close to Vatican and never missed an opportunity to walk through St. Peter's Square. Facilities.... More

Just returned from a 5 day trip to Rome. Sergio was extremely helpful and friendly. Giving us a tourist map and highlighting restaurants, bus numbers etc. Apartment was extremely clean and very comfortable. Great location as very close to the Vatican but in an area where restaurants and shops were cheaper (would definitely recommend "Restaurant Jasmine" for well priced and... More

I recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to Rome as long as you don't mind staying in the Vatican area. There are only 2 bedrooms and the owner does not live on the premises, therefore we had the apartment to ourselves 2 of the 3 nights we spent there. The rooms are nothing fancy, but the place is clean, this... More

My first tip is be sure Sergio knows what time you will arrive. When we arrived at the address there was no one around. Luckily there were a few men chatting and, since I speak Italian, I was able to ask for assistance from someone who had Sergio's number. Sergio and Caterina were wonderful. We were delighted that smoking was... More

My husband and I stayed here in May 2011 for 4 nights. Overall our experience was fine. The noise level (tvs!) was intense in the evening though, until around midnight. Even with earplugs I could not drown out the sound. We ended up watching the program "Wipeout" (dubbed over in Italian) to try keep sane until the neighbours hushed down.... More

My wife & I visited Greece & Italy June/July 2011 and the last 4 days were spent in Rome prior to our return to Australia. We pre-booked the B&B Alla Cupola accomodation from Australia as this was our last leg of our 5 week journey. It was here we first met our hosts Sergio & his wife after having driven... More

The B&B is not the type you usually see in the States. It's a two-bed apartment. The room we stayed in was very spacious (especially by European lodging standards) and A/C worked great! The wireless internet was FAST!! And the breakfast exceeded my expectations. Although there was no hot food, the variety of fruit, breads, pastries, cookies, juices, dairy products... More
