I cannot speak highly enough about this beautiful B&B located within 10 minutes walk from the Vatican City. The owner, Massimo was extremely helpful throughout with tips and advice to make the most of our trip. The B&B was very well kept and cleaned to a high standard daily. There was a small safe in the room as well as... More

A recent family stay at this wonderful bed & breakfast got our vacation off to a great start! Massimo and his staff were welcoming and attentive. Ideal location! Plenty to eat in the morning & the room was spacious and very clean throughout our 3 day stay. I would highly recommend for any traveler to the Eternal City. Incredible hospitality!

This place is amazing. They make you feel like family. Upon arrival we were questioned about what we wanted to see and do so they could advise us on the best way to make the most of our time. They went and got our tickets to see the Papal audience so we didn't waste time waiting in line. These people... More

We had a fantastic 3-night stay at their warm, welcoming and very comfortable B&B. The communication from the time of booking was prompt, and no-pressure shuttle service and tour suggestions were offered. There were plenty of fresh breakfast options available and they accommodated diatary requests. The staff even went above and beyond to organize delivery of our lost luggage -... More

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighborhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighborhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighborhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
