As other reviewers have said, Massimo is the main reason why this B&B is so good. You get a very personal service, with a very useful guide to the city when you first arrive. It's a great location, walking distance from St Peter's and the Vatican, and it's great value. Massimo you should be proud of your business.

Stayed here for four nights. Massimo was great in communicating and was very accommodating as I had to deal with a cancelled flight. The location of his B&B is wonderful and is in walking distance to many attractions. Massimo provides a large breakfast to get you fueled up for a day in Rome and also sits down and walks you... Massimo, hopefully your soon to be host, is a great source of city information and makes a superb breakfast. He was very helpful in figuring out the best form of travel to make it to the B&B from the airport on the first day; something which I didn't think about when heading off to Italy. He'll inform you of all... More

This was our first time in Rome and we will surely be back. Massimo is an excellent host!! we had some difficulty with our flight, it was rescheduled for the following day, I told Massimo and he was so understanding! He scheduled a car service to pick us up at the airport. Upon arrival, he gave us a map and... More

Staying here you are in walking distance to the Vatican, plazas, shopping and dining. I gave 4 stars because Massimo the host is helpful and the rooms are very clean. For 50 euros Massimo the host had a driver pick us up at the airport. Little tip if you have car pick u up they will not arrive until an... More

Stayed here for two nights. Very centrally located to all the sights. We actually only took a bus once to get to the coliseum. Massimo was very helpful and made sure that we never left on an empty stomach. Food recommendations and sights to see were spot on. My only reason for not giving this B&B 5 stars was because... I stayed here for three nights during my trip around Europe and it was my second B&B during my first six weeks. Massimo is just lovely and full of really useful information on where to eat like a local and how to avoid the crowds (as much as possible). A very short walk (5 minutes) from the Vatican, but a... Capricci Romani can make all your dreams of Rome come true. It is warm and comfortable and Massimo, the host, is great and so informative about the ins and outs of touring Rome. Once in the cage elevator you are transported to the feeling of truly living in a villa in Rome. Rooms are comfortable with private baths. Breakfast in... More

We LOVED our experience at Capricci Romani. We are not normally B&B people and were traveling with our two children. I would not have dared stayed at Capricci Romani if not for the great reviews on tripadvisor. Everyone was right! This place far exceeded our expectations. Our room was huge with a 3/4 wall that separated us from our kids.... More

Great b&b - very clean, filling breakfast and just around the corner from the Vatican. Massimo was very informative and friendly, and even messaged me to advise how to find the b&b from the airport. Definitely recommend.

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighborhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighborhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighborhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
