Great b&b - very clean, filling breakfast and just around the corner from the Vatican. Massimo was very informative and friendly, and even messaged me to advise how to find the b&b from the airport. Definitely recommend.

I was in Rome for Christmas 2014 with two other girlfriends and we stayed for six days at Capricci Romani B&B.We have traveled a lot in Italy and been in so many B&B and Hotels but we have never ever encountered such a great hospitality as from Massimo. The hotel is located in a great area and every major attraction... More

A small hotel between St Angelo Castle and Vatican city - less than 10 minutes of walking. The size of hotel makes you feel special - you are one of a few, not one of one thousand. The host, Massimo, is a great guy. He gave us tips and ideas how to save money and time when visiting the attractions... More

A great B&B within a short 5 minute walk of the Vatican. The B&B is in a fantastic location that is both quiet and safe. The rooms are extremely generous in size and very well presented. Massimo is a great host and truly is the wealth of knowledge when it comes to Rome and the Vatican! His local knowledge and... More

Apologies for the delay, that's the rat race of London. We were greeted very warming, friendly and welcoming on our one year anniversary trip to Rome, even though our flight from Heathrow was delayed by an hour. Our very large room in the B&B apartment had it's own en-suite (cleaned very well every day) and our host was very helpful... More

As with the vast majority of other reviewers, my family (including two teens) were very favorably impressed by the total package: location, hospitality, communications, arranging airport transportation, convenience, local knowledge, excellent value, clean and comfortable rooms, wonderful overlarge breakfasts, great restaurants and gelati nearby, more. Massimo works very hard to go out of his way to make sure each guest's... More

I was three nights at Capricci Romani B&B recently, and this was my third stay here. The b&b is located ideally, only 5 minutes walk from St. Peter's basilica, and only about 6 or 8 minutes walk from the nearest metro statiin Ottaviano. The room is comfortable and comes with a safe so you don't carry your valuables around. The... More

We stayed in Capricci Romani for 2 nights in January 2015. The host, Massimo, kept us in touch long before our trip to Rome, so we were ready to find a trouble with parking when we arrived to the city from Naples. The hotel does not provide a parking lot and we were ready to park the car 3-4 blocks... More

My review is late - sorry. I stayed here in September for 2 nights. The location is super easy to get to. I took the train from the airport then switched to the metro and walked to the B&B. Returning to the airport, the owner told me about the bus less than a 5 minute walk away and it was... More

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighborhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighborhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighborhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
