I loved this place. I could write a novel about what a great experience we had. I'll just highlight a few key items. 1) Giovanni was really great with communication with me during our stay and before we arrived. He was always available and was always checking in to make sure our stay was going well. 2) The room was... More

We booked this for a 2-night stay based on the reviews about location and Giovanni's hospitality. The location is excellent, just around the corner from the St Peter's. Unfortunately, we only met Giovanni on check-out, which is unusual when you stay in a B&B. To his credit, he'd emailed ahead of time with tips on getting there from the airport... More

This was our first trip to Rome and the first time I had booked a break that was not a package. Giovanni was amazing, and leading up to our break I had an email asking if I needed any help getting to the B & B, and the cheapest/quickest way to get there. Once there he pointed out all the... More

First, the pluses: - Giovanni, the owner, is probably the kindest and friendliest host we could have hoped for. His tips were always spot on and he was always available to help. We couldn't have been more thankful to him. - Most hotels and apartments in Rome, particularly those in and around the Vatican, are incredibly expensive. The value here... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at I Tre Pupazzi for two nights/3 days last September. We wanted a b&b because we knew we'd be out exploring for most of the time and I'm so glad we chose this one! The entrance isn't marked out too obviously as it's on the third floor so you have to ring a buzzer to... More

We stayed over New Years from Dec 27th through to Jan 3rd. From the service to the location, everything was absolutely excellent. Giovanni was amazingly helpful when we arrived, providing us a personalised map of off the beaten track streets and places to go. The location was excellent, two minute walk from Vatican City, and a pleasant stroll past Castle... More

Just returned from Tre Pupazzi after a three night stay. It's ten minutes walk from the Vatican, down a pretty cobbled street near all the main attractions in Rome. This is a small b&b and I think only one or two of the rooms have an en suite bathroom but it was quiet and felt so private and homely. Giovanni... More

We stayed as a young married couple in September 2012 for a long weekend break. Pro's: Giovanni is wonderful and made our stay fantastic. Couldn't do enough to help. Met us outside when we got lost. Drew a map with nice places to visit. Booked our return taxi and left a phone for us if we needed anything at all.... More

Great location close to Vatican. Small B&B with only 4 rooms plus small shared kitchen (4 chairs only so could get crowded) . We had room with bathroom - bedroom quite small, but excellent bathroom. Noisy however - between rooms as well as street noise at night. Lots of eating places nearby, but some expensive and quality not always there.... More
