Near to RomeTermini station. within 5 mins walk Room is spacious, clean, nice and cozy. No wifi signal at our room, and it only works in the dining area. Sufficient breakfast with croissant, yogurt, toast, juice and coffee.

While the entrance is not the best the B&B was close to Termini which was helpful as we planned our trip around Rome & further south. We arrived late and were given tea, juices and biscuits. Much appreciated. While the accommodation is not luxurious it was spotless. Breakfast was simple with a yoghurt, pastries, orange juice & tea/coffee.

There are only three rooms at this place, so once you know your dates book it quick! The owner was like a mom who took care of everyone who stayed there. Breakfast is free, and it's very substantial. You get free wifi. It's only a couple blocks from Termini Station. If I'm ever in Rome again I will stay there.

Very clean, close to Termini station. Cozy room, hot shower. The owner and staff were super nice. A bit hard to find, but that's even better! Wifi worked perfect. Breakfast modest but yummy. I would definitely go back!

We stayed in Rome for two nights 9-10 January 2015 at La Girandola with our two sons booking two rooms ; we opted for an affordable option close to the train station on our way back home not expecting much ! We found the front door with ease in an unexciting street ; We were very happy to find a... More

B & B was very easy to find from station, we were met upon arrival and shown our room which was a pleasant surprise. Room was large, clean, decent bathroom (small shower) and even had a fridge. Whilst the host does not speak much English he understood it was our first time in Rome and showed us on a map... More

A great B+B so close to the Railway Station....( just don't trust the map ) best thing when arriving is to go out the left Exit doors from the main platform, cross the pedestrian crossing and turn left. Take the 2nd street ( about 150 mtrs ) and turn right. It will be on your left walking down about 100... More

I stayed at La Girandola for 2 nights, because I arrive at night and it is not on a particularly pretty looking street, I thought my god what had I come too. I couldn't be more wrong, the room was spotlessly clean, the ensuite shower room modern, clean and bright. The family that run this 3 bedroom B&B are so... More

We needed an inexpensive B&B near the Termini train station in Rome for the night of May 23, 2012, so that we could catch an early flight the next day from the airport. We walked the block or two from the station, rang the bell, and were greeted by a pleasant gentleman who spoke no English. He got us settled... More

Easy to find and you can walk from the Termini station if your luggage has wheels. The owner offered each of s coffee on arrival. BUT : he does not understand or speak any other language the Italian. Not a word ! Obtaining information is thus impossible. Room very small. Bathroom with toilet en suite. Well isolated from (loud) street... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
