I will stay in this hotel again. The real name is Artmary located on 5th floor at via Milazzo just outside Rome Termini main station. Terravision bus service from all Rome airports halts near the place. Rooms are small but comfortable. If you are not satisfied with breakfast croissant then you can take other stuff from numerous cafes nearby. Travelling... More

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay in Rome. We've already visited Rome before, but this time we had a wonderful time. We booked a double room at this B&B. First of all I must say that the building is nice and historical. The rooms were clean and cosy. The staff was kind to us, especially when we weren't... More

We stayed in the quintuple room with our family of four(adult children). Fabrizio and Tiberio were very helpful with recommendations of where to eat close by (Mino Restaurant). This B&B is a 20-30 min walk to the Colosseum and Spanish Steps and steps away from Termini station. The breakfast at the cafe (cappuccino n pastry) was a great start to... More

I was here with my other 4 friends and stayed at the Quintuple room. When we arrived, it was a bit hard to locate since that there was no signboard or anything indicating that Evergreen was there. The direction from email was to head to Via Marsala and we walked till the end but there was no signage. Luckily we... More

For the price we paid we got what we paid for. The manager was very helpful he even helped to carry our bags in the rain to the bed and breakfast. Although as is stated in other reviews, you have to go to their main site which is the Viennese hotel to do all of the paperwork. The little cafe... More

A small hostel with a great location. It was a bit hard to find cause they hadn't put up any signs. The street is very close to the Roma termini, and the buses and it is easy enough to find. To find the door for the hostel you have to look for the name pitagora on thr front door buzzer.... More

Read previous revview of iami21 on 15 May 2012. Every single word of that review is true. Booked, arrived at 1130 room was not ready (hotel claims on website guest can check in from 9 AM onwards). After 1 hour wait instead of Viennese Due I was taken to another building 50-70 meters away which is actually Hotel Evergreen Roma... More

We've book Viennese Due B&B through the internet but they offer us the room in Evergreen, it is better actually, the building is more decent. We stay there with my friends and their baby for 5 nights ( 4 actually, we spend overnight in Venice). I just have to pay less than 150 euro for myself , the room is... More

They changed the hotel without fuerther notification. So they accomodate us in Hotel Vienessa... Same street, closer to Termini. But it was more than strange. It happened at 1 am, so I decided to accept it. There is no entry to Evergreen late in the evening. There is a ring at the door, but no staff is there. The shame... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
