We stayed for 9 nights at this wonderful intimate hotel. The rooms are sparkling clean and very comfortable. The breakfast room is lovely and the coffee is so good. We used the computer often and had so much help from the wonderful staff. Today, a month after our stay we are still using their help. We lost our camera, or... more

We spent four and a half months traveling in Europe for our honeymoon and found this hotel to be our favorite(we stayed in a total of 10). The main reason for this was the staff..in particular, the desk clerk, REZA, was very welcoming and helpful. He was willing to help us with reservations, directions, etc. and made us feel like... more

Small hotel on a side street next to the drab opera hall. Nothing to look at from the outside but nicely redecorated inside. The room was clean, in good condition, quiet, and had a small balcony which we actually used. The mattresses were foam and super comfortable after long days of walking. Breakfast was very good, and the desk staff... more

The hotel is on a side street very close to the Termini, the subway station at Piazza della Repubblica, the Coloseum, the Forum, and the Palatine Hills. The room we stayed in was small with no view, but very quiet. The cleaning staff kept the room and the bathroom very clean. The front desk staff was very helpful. Breakfast was... more

This turned out to be quite a little gem of a hotel, minutes from Termini station, and not much farther to most of the major sites. We came here with a group getting ready to go on a cruise, and the front desk staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful to us - especially when it turned out... more

We enjoyed our five day Rome stay in this nice, little hotel. Located next to the Opera and near Termini (metro) Station, all Rome attractions were easy to reach. more

We spent three nights at Hotel Opera and have mixed reviews. We had reserved and paid in advance for a king size bed / room and on checking in were told it wasn't available until the next night - no explanation or apology. The room we were given was tiny and smelled so strongly of smoke that I barely slept.... more

This was my friend and I's first time to Rome. When looking for hotels we were so overwhelmed as there are so many to choose from, and Rome is SOOOO vast that its nearly impossible to determine where it is to stay location wise. We chose Hotel Opera Roma (formerly Hotel Sonya) mainly for the price. Rome is incredibly expensive,... more

Hotel Opera is located within a short walk to Termini Station, making it a very convienent location. Yet the hotel room we had was very quiet and comfortable. The staff is very, very helpful and go out of their way to help you. We strongly recommend this hotel as an affortable, convienent and pleasurable location while staying in Rome. more
