i am sorry that this review comes three years late, as i stayed here in Nov 2011. however i have had a look at the pictures and not much has changed. we wanted a budget hotel and hence after much research booked it. i totally regretted the decision. firstly, the ambiance of the hotel is very depressing. the rooms are... We stayed at Hotel Metro Roma, because we wanted something affordable and closely located to a metro station. The prices were really affordable and the accommodation was more than decent. My fiance did not enjoy teh breakfast so much, though; he expected more options like ham and cheese, eggs etc. Me, on the other hand, who have more of a... More

Maybe the contrast compliments this place too much (our previous hotel was excruciating), but I like it. There are certain advantages - there are a refrigerator, a blowdrier, it is warm even though the heating season hasn't started yet, everything is neat and tidy. The prices are modest. The food is not delicious-unbelievable-amazing, but okay. The disadvantage for me is... More

We stayed here for three nights in July 2010. We came at night and it was very hard to find, but true to its name its near the last metro stop. The hotel was very confortable, better than most of the budget hotels we stayed at in Europe. There was nothing spectacular about the food; I wouldn't recommend eating here... More

I would like to do this hotel justice by reviewing all aspects of the service: Service: I would like to mention the service was excellent. The manager handles all requests and the cafe staff will make you any drink you ask for. for FREE. The Rooms. The rooms were okay. The staff didn't want to change the sheets everyday for... More

I've stayed here twice.. Last year I went to Rome with my family and just because I knew it was clean, I came back this year with a friend. It wasn't terrible, but I think that if I ever go back to Rome, I'll look for another place to stay. This year, I went in June, and the air conditioning... More

We came to Rome for a Ethiopian footbal tournement. We were with a big team + supporters. We all slept at the Metro Hotel, as you can imagine we were a lot of trouble, but the hotel staff deald with it outstanding. They were so nice and full of understanding. We made up for the trouble we caused and we... More

This is the worst hotel I've ever seen in my entire life! Many of the comments that enphasized good aspects of this hotel are propably lying, because I couldn't find one good thing to point out at all. The beds are awful (low qualitiy matress), the pillows are terrible (not real pillows), so, basically, the bum who lives downtown my... More

I stayed in the Metro Hotel for three nights on July 2012. I payed 15Euros a night to share the room with two other girls, which I think was a good price. The rooms were clean and the bed and bathroom (ensuit) was alright and the room was air conditioned. The only negative bit was, was that the street is... More
