We stayed in April 2012. The person who ran the B&B was absolutely wonderful. She answered any questions we had about Rome and helped us plan our days to see the sights of Rome. She gave us a map and gave us recommendations on restaurants and a delicious gelato shop nearby. She was very friendly and helpful. She was more... More

Marlene, the host, is very nice and helpfull. She will do her best to help you and ensure you have a good stay. Our room was spacious and clean. It is possible to hear some noice from the corridor, but this is normaly not a big problem as there is only 3 rooms. The B&B is only 10min walk from... More

I stayed four nights at BB Marlu in the single room with shared bathroom. The room has a comfy single bed, desk and wardrobe to unpack your clothes as well as a little side table and portable air-con unit. Share bathroom is lovely and spacious with shower over bath and I never experienced a conflict with the others sharing the... More

This is truly a B&B. It is a residence converted into a B&B. Marlene was really nice and is great to chat to, but if you're looking for luxury, this is not it. The location of the B&B is near great gelato place and is close to Termini and lots of Chinese restaurants, but the area in general seems pretty... More

We traveled with 4 children to this B&B and rented all three rooms. Marlene was a wonderful host we felt we were visiting family in Rome. We had a very long trip and only two days in Rome she was able to give us a map and help us plan out all the details with insider tips for tickets etc... More

It was a good bb, the location is nice, the owner is very friendly, she picked up us from the intersection and explains the tips in Rome. However, with hot weather and no air conditioning in the room, we barely sleep in the two night's stay. I rather pay more to get a cool room next time. More

I'm really sorry that you had a hard time sleeping. I remember perfectly when you came, it was end of June and I had already started to put the air-conditioning in the other two rooms, you could have asked me as you saw that the others had air-conditioning to put it also in your room. I would have done it... More

Thanks Marlene. This place was terrific and a great way to start our long trip in Europe. We were greeted like old friends at the door, arriving 830am after a 12 hour flight. Our room was ready so we were invited to unpack, shower and move in straight away. Ours was the room with the double bed, couch bed and... More

My Partner and I arrived early in the morning and Marlene was already waiting for us downstairs to welcome us. Straight away she explained to us where to go and where not, which was very great! Throughout the trip, Marlene couldn't make us feel more comfortable. We got served fantastic breakfast both mornings with home-made cappuchino. Breadrolls, croissant, yoghurt, jam... More

Stayed at this comfy B&B for two days while traveling through Europe. Marlene, the owner, met me upon my arrival to get me settled, provided me with a map of the city, suggestions on where to take a walking tour and provided guidance on the metro system. The place is very clean, quiet and intimate, and I felt extremely comfortable... More
