The hotel charged us twice for the stay. Once immediately after our stay and the second time 2 months later (!!!) After trying many times, I have contacted the manager on the phone ONE MONTH AGO and he promised he would do something but he did ZERO, other than asking me information he should have already (like the reservation number).... My friend and I stayed there last June, for four nights . First we were surprised to found ourselves in front of a very old building with no reception..we called the number which we were given, but the person who answered gave us another number to call, eventually we ended up calling five persons. After waiting for more than half... More

Owner charged us before we arrived back in march, which is not the policy on hotels.com He has kept our credit card details on file and charged us again in August and sent an email saying it was an accidental charge and he would be issuing a refund, the 4 emails we have sent asking when the refund would occur... This is not a hotel, it is a converted floor of a residential block of units. When you arrive at 11pm it's all a bit scarey when you are greeted by two stange men in the middle of the street, when you are expecting to see a hotel recception! After being sheepishly lead upstairs, we were shown our room, which... More

In short - they overbooked so had no accommodation for us. They then did everything they could including repeatedly lying to us to avoid giving a refund. I wish I had seen the review below before we booked as we obviously not been the only ones. Our first impressions weren't good. We had reserved in November, and they had charged... More

We booked this hotel through Hotels.com, where it clearly stated that this was a "book now, pay later" hotel. Hotels.com requires a credit card to hold the nightly rate advertised at the time of booking. It is supposed to be a $5 hold charge, however the full amount of over 500 Euro was charged to our credit card. We contacted... More

Great stay for 3 nights. Don't let external appearance and stairway fool you. Modern decorated interior, clean, quiet, and above all fantastic location - 10 min walk maximum to all the biggest sights. Highly recommended

My Girlfriend and I were on a whistle stop tour of Europe and nipped to Rome for three nights, what a fantastic idea. A little apartment hidden away behind a beautiful huge wooden door, detaching you from the bustling streets of Rome, 5 minutes walk form the Colosseum and other wonders the City has to offer, great communication with the... I recently stayed at Relais Rome Sweet Home Navona when a booking at a different hotel in Rome fell through and my friends and I were stuck to find somewhere to sleep that very night. Luckily, there was a cancelling that very day and a spot opened up for us to stay. My first impressions were not so great. The... More

After reading previous reviews about this property, I almost cancelled my booking..Happy that I did not. The apartment was excellent, fantastic location, spacious and clean. The bathroom was a bit small, but functional, with a walking shower and a good sink. (there was also a washing machine that might be handy if you are planning to stay long) We were met... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
