A great find with easy access - walking and metro - to all the best bits of Rome. Barbara was very welcoming and helpful. TVs and wifi in rooms, with coffee, tea and brioche for available for breakfast. Lovely.

Hello, I'd say this was really great accomodation for very reasonable price. Really close to the center of Rome, metro station 2minutes walk from it. Rooms exactly like on photos, and host Barbara really nice person helped us with everything :)

Generous Barbara runs her place 10 min from Termini Station in a neat way. Most is quite minimalistic: as breakfast a soft Cornetto and a slice of cake, both well sealed, beverage DIY as much as you want. The doors are quite noisy in closing and, having glass in the upper part, let the doorlight in during nighttime, so shut... More

Barbara, who runs Blackberry House, is a kind, loving person, who dedicates herself totally to the comfort of the residents. We really loved the place! All the tastes of tea and coffee were a great bonus. If you are not Italian, however, you should be ready for 2nd breakfast not long after the first one :)

Overall good value, great location - walking distance from Collosseo, metro and tram station also very close. Although there is wifi, it is usable only from the lobby, not from the room, because the signal there is too weak. Breakfast was quite dissapointing - store bought croissant and crackers.

location is strategic and convenient. within 5 mins walk to train station. variety of food outlets below with reasonable prices. apartment is clean and comfortable. only set back is there is no fan/aircon in our room. opening the windows for air appears to be a little too noisy as the street doesnt sleep! However, you can request for a fan.... More

It was great to stay at the Blackberry House. The whole place is kept clean. The Metro station is right near the apartment so you can quickly get to any place in the city. The householder - Barbara is such a positive and helpful person. I recommend Blackberry to everyone looking for a cheap place to stay in Rome.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
