The location is perfect in the universities quarter,so it's the place to be at the weekends, the building it self was nice and cool. Lots of cheap restaurants nearby, the owner is kinda helpful,I don't recommend the place for families tho, more likely for youth.

If you don't mind the app. 20 min. walk to Termini St. or don't mind taking a bus, the location is okay. We were travelling as a family group, and found the distance a bit far off. On the positive side, the proximity to lots of nearby and cheap restaurants, is good - you don't need to look far away.... More

Fantastic room and location. The room was very big and clean. The breakfast was ok (bread, marmelade and honey). Staff provided all the information we needed and was very polite. There are several cheap and good Italian restaurans, bistros and pizzerias near to the room. Loved it and will definitely book there again.

Hi there! I'm a girl from Romania. I was in Rome with my mom and boyfriend for 6 days and it was wonderful. And very hot, 36 degrees during the day. We wanted to stay near Termini station, so we booked the apartment RMBB117. It was about 15 min, by foot, from Termini. On the web site was written that... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
