The rooms may be of different size and quality, so our first 3rd floor room was a shocker. The A/C barely worked, the over bath shower rose had collapsed, the basin plug did not work, english TV did not work and more. The replacement room next door was a little bigger (still small) so I fixed the plug, the loose... More

Dear boggle103, thanks for such a detailed review, we confirm that we fully correspond to the regional law regarding 4 stars hotels. We are glad that you liked our location and staff. The city tax is decided by the local authorities, the hotel must only collect it, we are sorry this was an issue for you. More

We were staying in the Boutique Hotel Trevi for three night at April 2015. The location is fantastic. It is located in a small alley next to the Trevi fountain. The alley itself has no access to cars, and the entrance is small, so it took us several minutes until we were able to find the hotel itself. Needless to... More

Excellent hotel in a great location just round the corner from the Trevi Fountain. The hotel is very comfortable and well appointed and modern. OUr room was on the back of the hotel and was really quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was delicious and a great way... More

We had a last minute issue with our original hotel around the corner from this wonderful little hotel. Emiliano at the desk was very helpful, booked us immediately and gave us a great rate. The Hotel was well appointed, modern and had a wonderful street view of road that led to trevi Fountain (less than 100 meters away). You could... More

I have stayed at this hotel previously and 2 of my previous 3 stays were excellent. This time I was travelling alone and opted for a double room, which in my opinion is worth the extra money. My room was on the street this time, and was a tad noisy, but double glazed windows kept the noise to an absolute... More

This is a fine hotel, clean and well-maintained, in an excellent location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast room is small and the breakfast is ordinary. Walking range of most everything you will want to see.

We have visited Rome 2 times and stayed here both times. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, so close to Trevi Fountain, but also close to Spanish steps, Piazza Narvona, Pantheon, Colosseum. Also close to shops etc

I've been in this hotel with my wife to celebrate she's birthday. My room was ok, strategic position of the hotel, fantastic view of Rome and good staff. Rooms are well worn and in need of an update. Pretty sure a million people have walked on the carpet. I don't want to dog them that bad--in terms of proximity, it's a great location and I understand the limitations of a small, "boutique" hotel. That said, the hotel is in the heart of touristville and it's pretty loud outside--sleeping... More

Dear bfletch57, we are sorry that some details of your trip didn't go as expected. This year has been an exception but usually the temperature is lower in October and almost all the hotels change the air condition system from hot to cold regime. We are sorry you didn't like our caffè americano, it's question of tastes though, it is... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
