Rooms are well worn and in need of an update. Pretty sure a million people have walked on the carpet. I don't want to dog them that bad--in terms of proximity, it's a great location and I understand the limitations of a small, "boutique" hotel. That said, the hotel is in the heart of touristville and it's pretty loud outside--sleeping... More

Dear bfletch57, we are sorry that some details of your trip didn't go as expected. This year has been an exception but usually the temperature is lower in October and almost all the hotels change the air condition system from hot to cold regime. We are sorry you didn't like our caffè americano, it's question of tastes though, it is... More

The surface of this hotel is nice and the staff are friendly. But it is obviously not well maintained. The first night I reported my tv and card key wouldn't work, and the knob fell off the closet so I couldn't use it. The gave me a real key and said it would all be fixed tomorrow. 3 requests later... Dear guest, it's flattering for us that you registered to this website just to review us and that you wrote in English, even if you are Roman, to get more visibility probably. It would be great to know in what room did you stay (if any) to fix all those problems you reported. More

Our room #502 was absolutely awful. Only 6 hangers in the tiny closet and no dresser. So we had to live out of our suitcases. The bathroom's shower was moldy and water seeped from underneath the bathtub when we were toweling off. But the bed was comfy. The AC would go on and off every 30 seconds: clic, clic on,... More

The Boutique Hotel Trevi is in a PERFECT location to explore all of the highlights of Rome by foot. We walked EVERYWHERE from there. We also really enjoyed sitting out on our small 5th floor balcony, overlooking the activity below and falling asleep to the strolling accordian players . HOWEVER, the bed was so horrible we couldn't really rest. The... More

Dear lindacrick, we apologize that we were below your expectations. We care about cleaning standards, but we will do further checks in order to be sure that the described problems don't subsist in our bathrooms and breakfast room. When we have the possibility, we give our guests the rooms as soon as they arrive, in your case we couldn't do... More

Positioned in the same street as the Trevi fountain .it is in a pedestrian zone with no csrs. Shops, restaurants, delis, cafes, street markets,sellers...this place has it all. First I must stress to all who are booking this hotel or thinking of it "This not a 4 star hotel" at best it is a 3 star. I must admit I feel upset that I paid for "4 star" but received much less. My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and that was about 2 to 3 nights... More

Boutique hotel Trevi is a nice old hotel, however it now needs a make over, you can see it is a little worn out. The staff is very nice and helpful, they were the main reason for a pleasent stay, together with the intimate atmosphere

We booked our honeymoon at the Trevi Hotel, after a farce with the transfers from the hotel we were then informed that we were not staying at the Trevi itself but were being transferred to the Boutique that is part of the same chain. So before we checked into the hotel we had already lost almost a day of our... More

Dear dannyharr, thanks for your kind review. Our hotel is part of Leonardi Hotels chain, Trevi hotel isn't, probably there was a misunderstanding when they explained the issue to you. We are glad that even if you stayed in another hotel that the one previously booked, you have a good opinion about our cleaning standards, breakfast and staff. More

I stayed here for 3 nights in a single room as I was taking a city break alone. The location was perfect, with most of the key sights within walking distance, bus stops at the end of the street (Via del Corso) and the metro (Barberini) about 7 minutes walk. Set amongst lively backstreets metres from the Trevi fountain, there... More

Dear samfan121, thanks for your kind review, we are glad you enjoyed the room, the bed, the free wifi, the balcony, the area, which is actually very safe and the politeness of the staff. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Central location right next to the Trevi Fountain, good rooms, breakfast and good price. Walking distance to all of Rome's main sights. Will stay here again.

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
