My work brought me here to stay for almost a month, Simone at the front desk is the best but that's about the only thing good about this place. Expensive and unclean- especially the bathroom. Beware of moving the drawers that the tv is sitting on you will find piles of dust bunnies and hair that isn't yours- same thing... More

We had massive rooms, more like self contained apartments with balconies too and with a beautiful view of the bay,. The hotel is within easy walking reach of the old town, we left our cars in the hotel reserved parking spaces on the street, free of charge. There was a good selection of food at breakfast and the staff was... More

Just 5 minute walk from old Gaeta where the buildings are piled high on a rock outcrop, but a bit further to the beach on the other side of the peninsula, this is a good value place stay. Parking available outside on the street if you're lucky. Room was large with fridge and dining area. Kitchenette (locked, but I expect... More

We spend one night in August. The hotel is near the centre and offers a fantastic view especially if you ask for a room with a terrace. We had the rooms at the back and there was noise coming from the road during the night. It is at least 15 minutes or more to reach the Serapo beaches by foot.... More

Nice hotel at the entrance of the old town of Gaeta. I really liked the terrace at the top of the building from where there is a beautiful view of the bay and the surrounding mountains. The location is perfect for walking to the old town along the corniche. Only a few minutes' walk that can be done at any... More

Positives: Simone at the front desk was the absolute highlight of my stay here. What a delight. The room was spacious and I very much liked having a kitchen and terrace. Negatives: Breakfast service by the brothers (owners) was quite unpleasant, as they loudly played their tv and music despite guests' desires. While many guests apparently like the view, it... More

We picked Gaeta as a stop between Rome and Naples, hoping to relax a couple of days before heading back home. We found this hotel online and booked it and were pleasantly surprised - both with the hotel and the town. Some of the rooms have lovely terraces - if you can, get a terrace. We saw 2 different rooms... More

Picked the town and hotel randomly as a rest stop enroute from Tuscany to Capri . What a great town and Hotel. Good value with clean rooms and amiable staff. Enjoyed the town as well and stayed an additional day. Watch the bikes...

A really nice hotel just outside the huddle of Gaeta but close enough to walk in. The beach is walkable too. The rooms are basic but fine. We had a lovely private roof top terrace with great views. Breakfast was provided and generous. Free parking outside too. Recommended.

Okay, so Gaeta may be off the beaten track for many an international visitor to Italy but if you are making the journey between Naples and Rome then this quaint little town is definitely worth a night stop. Situated about 120km from Rome you'll find plenty of history and charm in the fortified, hill top old town. The long stretch... More
