We booked our trip to Pompei to go see the ruins and chose this hotel as it was close to the entrance and very well priced. We got down 2 hours earlier than expected and were greeted with a warm friendly welcome by the staff who kindly let ys check in early. The photos shown above are a very true... More

I came here with a group of people headed to a tour of Pompeii. When the driver said we were stopping for lunch, and the coach rolled up outside alarm bells started ringing, so I frantically looked for this place on my TripAdvisor app. I couldn't find it using the GPS, and when searching for Hotel MEC (that's what it... On my recent trip to Italy, we decided not to book hotels in advance as we were unsure of the route we would take. After a long day of sightseeing and driving we decided to look for a place to stay. Our wi-fi connection was not available, so we had to "wing it" and search on our own. When we... More

Lunched here for E14 at the recommendation of the tour guide as they were able to park the coach nearby & it's not far from the exit to the historic site. For that price I got a large pizza margherita with a side green salad which I didn't eat much of along with a drink (bottle of beer) some bread... More

We ate in their restaurant because we were looking for somewhere to have lunch before going into Pompeii and were enticed by their offer of free parking if you eat in their restaurant. Over priced, horrible, intimidating staff who are dishonest if you don't check your bill. They felt that we didn't spend enough with them and were trying to... More

My wife and I both agree that interaction with people is a huge factor in making or breaking a vacation trip. In this case the staff of the Marius et Caesar Hotel were wonderful. Some spoke English, some didn't but they were all warm, freindly, caring. They went out of their way to make sure we knew where we were... More
