5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at the Hotel Diana. Having read reviews prior to my stay I expected a basic hotel within walking distance of the ruins, it was so much more. The Hotel was very clean, we were greeted with a friendly welcome. All staff were friendly and helpful, but Nadia went above and beyond. Nadia... More

I've just arrived back from a wonderful 3 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just outside of the town but a 5 minute walk to the centre. The outside of the hotel is not that appealing, but the minute you walk in the door it's a completely different atmosphere. The hotel is extremely clean... More

This is one of those hotels where you just say "Yes! This management knows what they're doing!" We stayed at Hotel Diana during the off-season (December) so we just rocked up and requested a room. The room was lovely - comfortable bed, shutters, good shower, clean bathroom. Breakfast was lovely, and the guy working was so obliging with our kiwi... More

A small hotel in a side street with basic bedrooms, but the service is 5 star. Staff so friendly and helpful. Good communication via email before our journey and helped arrange an airport pick up and return from a lovely taxi man. Breakfast was included and even though it is only continental it was enough with a nice choice to... More

We stayed here to visit Pompei ruins, although this time of year work was being done and a lot was closed. The weather was surprisingly good and we can recomend a trip ro Sorento by train as well as a boat trip to Capri. We also climbed Vesuvious, this is quite a trek and a reasonable level of fitness required.... More

If you're going here in the near future please don't be put off by the confusing leaflets they send you about getting there by rail. I was very confused and upon entering Naples was even more confused. As I write this (Feb 2015), the train station nearest to the Hotel is closed. This line is run by Trenitalia. Who knows... More

I stayed at Hotel Diana for a night in November. It was my last night in Italy and I squeezed it into my trip as Pompeii has always held a fascination for me. I was using public transportation and wanted a hotel close to the train station. When I realized where the hotel was I couldn't have been happier. As... More

This hotel was situated a little farther from the ruins. The nearer Circumvesuviana station is the Pompei-Santuario stop and not the Pompei Scavi-Villa dei Misteri stop. A short walk through the square brought us to Hotel Diana. Some good things going for it are the friendly staff, clean and modern facilities and an adequate and nice breakfast spread. On the... Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and tidy. Breakfast was very nice but maybe there could be more choices of cereals and fruit. Very convenient location for visiting the ruins of Pompei, would definitely use it again.

Staff were friendly, loved the Orange trees at the patio. Central location to train station and attractions, since I was a solo traveller, spent most evenings at the bar chatting with the lovely receptionist.
