I recently stayed at the Hotel Diana to do archaeological work at Pompeii and Herculaneum. Our room included breakfast, which was nice and typically European. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided us with excellent restaurant recommendations and help in finding various destinations in the bay of Naples. Overall, this is an excellent hotel and I would give it 5... More

My husband and I stayed at the Diana for several nights in May. It is a good hotel with a lovely garden surrounded by orange and lemon trees. It is quite near the station and within walking distance to the ruins and the center of town. The staff is extremely helpful and speaks very good English. When we made reservations,... More

the Staff were very helpful and friendly, but we ended up in Diana Inn and we were not expecting it, and had to walk 200 metres to get breakfast each morning, so overall not good value for money - be careful - trip advisor says this hotel has a restaurant, but it does not ! there are some good restaurants... I stayed here in May and it was my 2nd time staying at this hotel. Its very modern, clean, central, excellent helpful staff and a lovely terrace to sit out and relax in amongst the orange trees. Wi-Fi works perfectly, very nice breakfast. All staff from the breakfast staff to the reception staff were so friendly and helpful, even calling... More

The facilities here were nice, with a large shower by European standards, but the staff here, which helped us when we had a problem, was over and above expectations. We also enjoyed a bottle of wine on the terrace among the orange trees. We understood the bottle was from the winery of the owner of the hotel, grown in Pompei,... More

We stayed at the Diana in April, two couples arriving from different destinations. The best part about this hotel is the extremely helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble (I dropped an earing down the hand sink and they retrieved it from the U bend!). And the tourist information is given out helpfully and always with a smile. The hotel... We enjoyed our staying in Diana Hotel very much. It's clean, staff is very friendly. There is wonderful patio-garden, you can relax there a lot. The breakfast was good too. I'm sure we visit this hotel again.

We stayed here for 2 nights last week. First impressions were very good as we arrived a little early due to our flight times from the UK and our room was made ready for us very quickly. The staff were always very friendly (apart from one chap on reception who accused us of letting dogs into the hotel - 2... More

The hotel staff is outstanding at every level, from the front desk to the Breakfast room staff. The hotel is clean and in a fairly good location, about a 10 minute walk from the ruins. Other than that I found it to be quite average. Our room was very small. There is only one outlet in the room and one... More

The hotel is neat and clean and offers good service. It is only a 2 minutes walk to Pompeii station on the metro line (Not Circumvesuvinia) so getting there is very easy. The location is quiet. Rooms are adequate. Pompeii ruins are a short 15 minutes walk through the main piazza of the town. Breakfast was good. Good free wifi... More
