Finally friendly staff and careful service in Pompei! Excellent position for businessmen and family vacation. They offered me free parking at the ruins and a lot of advice on my journey in the area. New and comfortable rooms.

Pleasant, efficient check-in, excellent English. Room was was fine for one or two people, clean and quiet with small balcony. I really enjoyed dinner but there was no English spoken nor an English menu. Breakfast was a good continual one with nice bread, yogurt, simple ham and cheese with expresso machine coffee available. I would stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights. We booked with an agent in Australia and requested to be within. 400 metres of train station and ruins.... It is not. We came to see the ruins and it was a long walk. It is not. 4 star - 3 star would be a better rating. The beds were very hard and the... More

A few days back, spent a week in Pompeii. Please note that Pompei is centrally located to visit Amalfi Coast and thereabouts if you are on a budget and you are driving and Hotel Maiuri is located strategically, just off the motorway.(You do pay a toll of 2 Euros each time you use the motorway) but there are other routes... we booked a package holiday using lastminute.com ( flight and hotel) to pompeii. We decided to booked a transfer from airport to the hotel. It costed 60 euro each way. A bit expensive but worth it as we don't speak italiaan and could be a little bit complicated to use the train. It was a hassle free transfer. When we... More

We specifically came to Pompeii to see the ruins and this hotel is not very close. $15 cab ride from main gate/train station. The hotel was ok. The rooms were small and the service was great. It is classified as a 4 star which I don't agree with. Definitely 3 star.

Stayed here for 1 night while visiting the ever famous Pompeji. We were 4 people and we had booked one room. When we saw the room there were a double bed and a bunk bed. Since we were 4 adults travelling, I went down in the reception and complained. In no time we got and extra room no charge. AMAZING!

The hotel is clean but the room was a little small. Breakfast was good, their cappuccinos excellent. However we did not have a car and it was quite a walk into town and the stations. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We got completely stung by a cab charging us 120 Eurors from Naples airport to the hotel. The... More

The hotel is located near the highway and offers free parking. The rooms are a bit small but well furnished including a desk. Beds are very firm and they squeak as we move. In our room the shower head is partially blocked and sprays water awkwardly. The room is very clean. Breakfast is average and the coffee is quite strong.... More
