If you're going to this area of Italy definitely stay here - it is close to the train station so you can take day trips to all of the surrounding towns and access the Amalfi coast. It is cheaper than anything comparable in Sorrento and the staff are great. There is an excellent breakfast buffet included in the room price... More

I chose this hotel mainly because of its convenient location to an uncrowded side entrance to the ancient city of Pompei. It is only a block or so from this entrance, so I did not have to worry about parking. Plus, the hotel is just a few blocks from the main square of the new city, which we were planning... More

I picked this hotel because of its location near the Pompeii Ruins. The staff was very nice. The room and bathroom were small but clean. Unfortunately, the sliding door in our room opened up to an outdoor restaurant. The noise from the diners was so loud it was almost as if they were in our room. The noise lasted well... More

Clean rooms, but dark and dated furniture. Dribbly shower. One excellent helpful receptionist with really good English. Visited as staff member with party of 21 students. Breakfast was not great, especially for the teenage boys who were restricted to one croissant and a packet of dry crisp bakes. W e had to ask for more! There was plenty of food... More

This is a budget hotel that is in a great location, right across the street from a crowd-free side entrance to the Pompeii excavations, clean, comfortable and good wifi connection. We stayed there 2 nights. On the first night, a tour group of young people was checking in, so it was a bit noisy until they settled down, but completely... More

Reception staff very friendly. Rooms basic, clean but dated. Poor lighting. No tea or coffee making facilities in room. Buffet breakfast adequate but small portions, dined in hotel restaurant on our last night was not impressed. Had pork in wine and lemon sauce, very fatty. Children had spaghetti which they enjoyed. Central location for sight seeing in Pompeii. In and... More

Having travelled in our own care from the UK, we found the closed free parking very valuable. The hotel is somewhat dated but within easy walking distance of the ruins. Staff are friendly, as others have mentioned. The restaurant where we had dinner twice was adequate but nothing special. Rooms basic, but comfortable, clean and air conditioned.

Positive: the receptionists are friendly, speaks English. Private car park. Wi-fi. Location: walking distance to ruins, restaurants. Negatives: terribly dated: furniture, restaurant, bedroom, tiny elevator for 2; plumbing in our shower almost fully calcified, low pressure, resulting in a dribble ! When we asked for a change of room for want of a proper shower , the reply" the technician... More

Only thing going for this place is friendly staff and location. Rooms are noisy , and bathrooms are mouldy. There is no bar fridge for cool drinks - not even a spare roll of toilet paper - keys must be left at reception when you go out - even for tea - yet there is not a safe in your... More

We had supper here yesterday and it was a very mixed experience. First of all - the staff is friendly and speak good English. The menu is reasonable but only in Italian. I've ordered grilled chicken with Capriccio salad (or something similar), which looked really nice on the photo; my husband was having veal with fries. We waited a good... More
