I highly recommend staying here while in Pompeii. Giuseppe and Lorena are amazing hosts, catering to your every need, friendly, informative and so sweet. It's a stones throw from the ruins and the train station. The breakfast was plentiful, the room clean and the pool area ideal during the heat. If you decide to join them for dinner you won't... My wife and I stayed here for our tenth wedding anniversary and from the minute we arrived Giuseppe and his wife Lorena could not have done any more to make our stay something truly special. Although we had booked a room in the villa itself , on the first night (the day of our anniversary) Giuseppe showed us to a... More

Very nice stay with my family here at Villa Franca. The location is fantastic and just a short walk down one road to Pompeii ruins. We didn't know how close it was to Pompeii until we arrived and we were surprised! The owner was so kind! He greeted us and was always available. To my surprise again he presented me... More

I visited this property 2 nights in a row at the suggestion of the lady running our B & B for dinner, she called ahead for us to make sure they could accomodate us. Dinner was under the stars around the pool which was a very nice setting, all the guests at the tables socialized. First course antipasto consisting of... More

I have to say that this has to be the friendliest family run hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, until the time we checked out we were well looked after by our hosts. In common with others, I can confirm the food is plentiful and excellent. We loved the fact there was no menu and... More

We loved our stay at the Villa Franca - the breakfast was fabulous and the two meals we ate were stunning - all in all some of the best food in Italy. My kids also loved the pool and dining outside every night. The hosts were friendly, and willing to help at all times. The only negatives were the room... More

We stayed for 6 nights, and I can honestly say this is the friendliest hotel we have stayed in. Family run, nothing is too much trouble. Want a taxi - just ask and it's organised. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had a queen sized bed, free Wi-Fi and a view straight out onto the swimming pool. We ate... More

After leaving Rome we arrived in Pompeii and within minutes of stepping off the train we located the Villa and were greeted with fresh juice and shown to our room. The room was off the pool/garden. Minutes from the ruins and bus to Vesuvius with a welcoming host. Great morning breakfast served in garden/pool of pastries, pizza, juice, yogurt and... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2014

We stayed for 5 nights in September. We were allocated a room in the apartment block just the other side of the railway. It was a large spacious room with a large King size bed, with a balcony that had a view of Vesuvius. The railway ran next to the bedroom, but as the last train is around 10:30 there... More

After reading so many lovely reviews on this hotel my partner and I were excited for our stay, Unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations. Firstly, We booked a double room with a balcony and instead were given an old run down room that had bunk beds and a sofa which literally backed on to the railway tracks.... More

Sorry for your feeling, we usually served the food in a simple way we do not think about who is first and who is second.... for us all the guestes are the same. Of course if we have some old guest we preferre to serve them before....you were with us 2 night, why you did not say anything about the... More
