Great location, nice garden~ pretty and rather romantic at night. If views are your thing be sure to book rooms on the top floor because when the leaves are on the trees views from lower floors are obscured. Ludicrously comfortable bed, crisp white sheets and great aircon. Bathroom a little outdated but everything worked fine. We had lovely big French... More

We stayed at the Hotel Forum in January 2016 due to its location to the ruins which are literally right across the street. Great location with free parking also. The parking is public parking, but the hotel validates the ticket for you. Good breakfast (No full English but you are in Italy!!), clean, location is great, and well priced. Personal... More

We stayed at the Hotel Forum for our honeymoon at the beginning of January due to its location to the ruins which are literally right across the street. Great location with free parking also. The parking is public parking, but the hotel validates the ticket for you. We had booked for one night about a half a year ago and... More

We found the variety of hotels near Pompeii a little disappointing, but this was definitely the best we could see. Not posh by any stretch of the imagination (doesn't matter if it is but high star rating often implies it) but it was clean, friendly, close to the sites (only real reason to be in Pompeii) and there was a... Located in the center of town, directly across from the ruins... The location of this hotel can't be beat. Free parking is available across the street. The updated rooms were super high tech and very comfortable. Large beds, crisp linens, modern, clean bathrooms with great toiletries. The breakfast the morning was a full buffet with eggs, cereals, yogurt, toast, pastries,... More

A friendly reception awaits you, nice clean spacious rooms, a wide choice of continental breakfast and very helpful staff. There is a shuttle bus that goes to Mount Versuvious sorted by the hotel. Taxi to Herculeiam sorted by the hotels and taxi back to the airport sorted by the hotel. The hotel is situated only a ten minute walk from... More

While studying in Florence, Italy, I decided to take a small detour to Pompeii for a weekend. I wanted a place that was close to the train station, where the fare is free to ride from Naples, but also close to the City of Pompeii attraction. It literally was a five minute walk down the street. Being a student, I... More

Not bad nor good. The hotel has a good location for visiting Pompeii and we used it as the departure point for the other visits we made around the area, including Vesuvio, Naples and Amalfi Coast. Although the hotel looks nice it lacks some basic things like a full size mirror in the rooms, power plugs near the beds to... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Forum in spite of a few niggles and the reason for 4 stars rather than 5. The hotel is clean, the staff are welcoming and very friendly, the breakfast buffet is plentiful, the dinner menu comprises local foods, the courtyard makes a great outdoor relaxing area even in November, the location could not be... My wife and I spent 3 nights in the Hotel Forum in Pompei during our recent visit to the archaeological site. The hotel was very good and the staff was very helpful. We ate 1 dinner in the hotel's restaurant and it was good. Breakfast (included) each morning was also very good. Our room was very comfortable and the hotel's... More
