This small hotel is directly across the street from the lesser used entrance to the ruins of Pompeii. Our room was adequately sized and the hotel is clean and well maintained. There are numerous cafes and restuarants nearby. A station on the local Circumvesuviana Railway is a 5 minute walk away or it is a 15 minute walk to the... More

I had booked a junior suite overlooking the ruins months in advance and then a month before the stay confirmed the suite had two beds as a friend was traveling with me, and they confirmed this was so. I specifically booked the room overlooking the ruins as Pompeii has been on my bucket list. I had prepaid for the room... More

We rate this hotel "excellent" in all categories except service as "very good" only because one day there was not enough food left for breakfast even though we arrived at 08:30. Location is perfect - only a few meters from the south entrannce to the Scavi di Pompeii, rooms are very comfortable, modern and clean. Ours had a balcony over... More

Booked through Expedia. Lovely, friendly & welcoming hotel. Ideally suited for the Pompeii ruins and centre of town. We used as a base to also visit Sorrento, Monte Faito and Vesuvios. Breakfast was a great start to the day and our room was upgraded to one which had a recent makeover - most comfortable and clean. All in all a... More

Stayed here for 2 night. I stayed in an old and outdated room. The pictures show a lot of modern rooms but I think you have to ask for these rooms and pay more. The rest was ok. Breakfast was simple but in Italy breakfast isn't important. So was this breakfast. Positive thing is that the Pompei ruins are across... More

My two children and I stayed in a Junior suite, overlooking the ruins and Mount Vesuvius - great view. We arrived a bit early, but as we had an early lunch they speeded up the cleaning of our room so that we could check in at 13.00 - very much appreciated. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were... More

Arrived late in Pompei really not wanting to find that the hotel we had booked was not up to scratch. Considering the amount we paid I was amazed we had a suite overlooking the gardens. The room was absolutely superb and the choice of breakfast was impressive and very fresh. The place is opposite the entrance to the ruins so... More

We were pleased we chose this hotel - we were upgraded to a larger room, which was clean and comfortable. Lots of trendy touches re lighting and aircon controls, plus disco lights in the shower, if that's your thing. There was a nice garden area, and the food at the restaurant was fine. The staff were very helpful and friendly,... More

We arrived at the Hotel Forum and received a warm welcome. We then painfully began explaining our awful problem to Valentina and Gennaro who quickly took note of our issue( a bag left at Hotel Berti in Assisi). These super people gave us assurance they would contact the hotel and have them send our bag. They told us to go... More

We arrived at Scavi villa misteri in the dark because our scheduled circumvesuviana train failed to arrive due to strike action. A long drag of the cases from station to hotel. We were warmly greeted and booked in. Hotel staff advised us that there is a second station in Pompeii which is closer to the hotel, so go for that... More
