Simple clean rooms. We had a room with a small bathroom and large bedroom but no balcony. My partner smokes so we asked fora balcony. They explained the bedroom was smaller but the bathroom was bigger. We had a look and it worked fine. We had a fabulous terrace overlooking gardens and terraces in every direction and could just see... More

The hotel sets just off the Main Street near the ruins. That's a good thing because the area is very busy. Our room was comfortable. Breakfast was satisfactory and consistent. The front desk staff was helpful but not overly friendly (not unusual for hotels in the cities). The courtyard is very inviting. We just weren't wild about Pompei after being... More

The highlight of our trip - the Hotel Forum was not easy to get to by train - we were charged 20E to get from Scavi station to the hotel in a taxi - do strike a deal before getting in! it should have really been no more than 10E. The hotel itself is great - they have gigantic lemons... More

The hotel is very clean with a beautiful garden to eat and drink in.There is an indoor restaurant as well. The hotel is located in the main street right opposite the entrance to the ruins, and close to the beautifull church and bell tower. Avisit to the top of the bell tower is essential. The food is excellent and there... More

We went to this hotel for a mid week break even before we arrived the staff had been extremely helpful having arranged transfers from the airport and letting us know about train and bus arangments if that was better for us. The hote is directly opposite the ruins . The hotel is clean and the room we had number 50... More

When first riding up to the hotel it may appear less then nice but the outside looks are deceiving. Thanks to trip advisor reviews I chose this hotel because it was close to the ruins and it ended up being one of the nicest hotels I stayed in during our Italy trip. We did get upgraded to the royal site... More

This hotel is located right by the entrance at the far end of the excavations, perfect for access. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food was good, plenty of restaurants around. We had a junior suite which was very spacious.

The Hotel Forum for us was perfection! - Its location close to the ruins was ideal, it's very convenient for the shops, their food is great and if you choose to eat elsewhere, there are good restaurants in the area too. In the week we were there the staff became almost like family! Parts of the hotel are being upgraded... More

Stayed here while visiting Pompei & Herculanium over 2 days, fantastic location opposite the entrance to the ruins and well placed for shops and restaraunts,Room was modern & clean with the added luxury of aircon which was nice in October but I think would be essential in summer and a balcony,we were surprised by how large the modern town of Pompei... The hotel is situated literally minutes from the back entrance to the Pompeii ruins - which is great because if you go there when the site has just opened you feel like you have the place to yourself as most people use the main entrance 20 minutes walk away. The hotel is easy to find on a main road, 20... More
