We chose this hotel because of its location to the ruins. It was only steps away from the entrance of the Anfiteatro and the Piazza B. Longo. How lucky we found out there were plenty more pleasure within this little gem of Pompeii! We booked our room direct through their website and received a 15% discount on the rate. The... more

Hotel Forum is ideally situated for visiting the Pompeii ruins. Very friendly staff & english speaking. Rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Good in-room wireless internet service. Excellent value for money. Breakfast is OK. Try restaurant i Machiavelli around the corner for great rustic Italian cooking. Definitely recommend this hotel. more

We were really pleased with our stay at this fantastic little hotel. The hotel is ideally located for the main old town Piazza with its great church, the train station and of course one of the entrances to the ruins (amphitheatre entrance). As we were staying slightly out of season the hotel was not busy at all. You enter through... more

I stayed here as part of a 6 person tour group for 5 nights in September. Lovely hotel in a perfect location for the Pompeii ruins. The main thing I have to rave about is the dinner. Our deal with the hotel included dinner. I was a little concerned, as this can be limiting if you wish to try out... more

We ended up staying here for 3 nites. Lovely hotel and very helpful staff. The garden is peaceful and serene and it was lovely to sit out there with a wine or 3, eating nibbles provided and while away the early evening. Room quite spacious for Italy hotel and would definitely stay there again. more

We had a two day stay and initial impressions were of quiet luxury - an oasis of calm in a frightfully busy tourist hotspot. Parking was a bit of a pain - over the road in a public car park; but at least it was free and the hotel drive is used for unloading etc. Even had a small but... more

Spacious and well appointed rooms that have recently been refurbished to a high standard. Breakfast is taken on the outside patio and the staff are very helpful and speak good English. The hotel is well-appointed for visiting the historic sights of Pompeii. more

We have just returned from a short stay (Friday 5th October to Monday 8th October) at this hotel and we found it to be very comfortable and clean, with extremely friendly and obliging staff, who spoke very good English and were only too willing to help us with information about the local area and historical sites. I would not hesitate... more

Don't be a day tripper to Pompei - you will miss so much. This hotel has a great location - wonderful staff. The breakfast had the largest selection of any we found in Italy. It is convenient to the ruins but also the beautiful piazza and the train station. We made this our base for a few days while we... more
