Large room, recently remodeled with luxury-grade fittings. The door alone must have cost thousands! Unlike other Italian B&B's, we had full access to a/c and heat (that we didn't need to use). Breakfast was large, including meat, cheese, cereal, yogurt, eggs, and a fresh out of the oven homemade croissant. Brother and sister are your hosts, and both are attentive,... More

We spent a couple of nights at this b&b with the friendly hosts Martina and Salvatore. Our room was clean, with a modern ensuite bathroom with good water pressure. Free wifi in our room. Breakfast was great, better than the typical Italian you find usually. Juice, tea, coffee, yoghurt, cold meats, cheese, eggs made to order and a delicious pastry... More

I agree with the other reviewers and can only add my enusiastic endorsement. Clean, quiet, and attractive rooms, with modern plumbing and comfortable beds. The best part of La Casa di Plinio is Martina and Salvatore - we could not have asked for more charming, hospitable, and helpful hosts! We recommend this B&B without reservation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Casa di Plinio. From recommendations for great food to a private tour guide at Pompeii. We were not disappointed. This was a great start to our stay in Italy. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. The family was very friendly and we were able to walk to everything we... More

We stayed only one night at this B&B but even with that short a stay Martina and her brother Salvatore made us feel like family. We had no problem finding the place with the help of the GPS and a quick call to Martina. When we arrived we were unloading our bags from the trunk and Salvatore noticed an old... More

We booked our stay at Casa di Plinio based on the excellent reviews, and it lived up to those reviews in every way. Friendly and welcoming hosts, clean and comfortable room, and nice breakfasts made for a most pleasant stay. And did I mention the croissants...? Wow! Salvatore and Martina know how to attend to every detail, and they do... More

This B&B is a gem in large part due to the warm hospitality of brother and sister Salvatore and Martina. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the morning breakfasts and the quiet sleeps at night which provided us with a nice refuge from our busy tours of Pompei ruins and Herculaneum. The rooms were modern and well appointed and... More

This is a jewel of a hotel. Don't look any further, just grab a room here. The rooms are all entered from the outside, so it feel more like a hotel than a B&B to me. But the included breakfast is amazing, and the rooms are recently redecorated and also amazing. The WiFi is super fast and extremely stable. Everything... More

Very helpful and friendly young owners were there to greet us and to give us hints about visiting the area. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was very good. The area is very quiet at night, so we slept well. Yes, we would stay there again upon returning to Pompeii.

We only stayed one night but wish we'd booked for longer. Very good welcome with water served while hostess explained about visiting Pompeii with some good advice about visiting Villa dei Misteri early. Then we were shown our room which we were pleasantly surprised to see had a kitchenette. Bedroom was in the vaulted basement of the old house and... More
