We stayed for one night whilst driving around Italy and found it easy to find with secure parking. Great base for exploring Pompei and heading to Vesuvius the next day. The ruins were a short walk away, as was the main square and restaurants. The hosts were lovely and so was their dog Leopoldo! Breakfast was basic but lovely as... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in August. Il Bassotto means dachshund and is embodied by Leopoldo, the adorable mascot who greets you along with the very friendly and welcoming owners of this family-friendly B&B. If you arrive by train, get off at the Pompeii station- not at Pompeii Scavi. Il Bassotto is within walking distance of the train and... More

We stayed in a triple room for 3 nights. our room was very spacious. It had a fridge and a table with chairs. good size bathroom. We were disappointed that we had no windows in our room, but it wasn't big issue as we didn't spend much time in doors anyway. the room opened onto a patio where breakfast was... More

This place was a good choice for our visit to Pompeii. Friendly owners who helped us plan our stay and gave us some recommendations on the Amalfi coast as well. Large and clean rooms. Good, quiet location a few minutes walking from the town center and the archaeologic site. There's a laundromat right next door if you need one.

We spent one night here in between visits to the archaelogical sites at Herculaneum and Pompeii, and paid approx. Euro 50 for a spacious double room with breakfast. It's in a good location - 10 mins walk from either train station (Pompeii Sanctuario on the Vesuviano, or the FS station), 10 mins from the eastern entrance to the ruins, less... More

I reccommend it warmly! Clean, friendly, perfect location, great value for money! 4 persons 90 Euros a night is a bargain! Refrigerator in the room, Wise and sound advise from the propietors what to do and see in the region. PARKING! Walking distance from the ruins, restaurants, stations, santuary.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Il Bassotto B&B on our inter railing trip of Italy. The room we had was very large and had excellent air con, was furnished in a modern style and had an en suite, on the downside the leg of the bed we had was slightly broken meaning it creaked all night when either... Our room was clean and modern, with artistic decor and a very comfortabe bed. The room had excellent air conditioning and T.V. with remote controls, useful fridge, wardrobe, drawers, table and chairs and a chaise longue! The owner was so helpful and friendly, and served our breakfast just outside our room, then we were left in peace. We had our... More
