We are a family of four staying here for 9 nights in two rooms. We knew beforehand from reading other reviews that the name isn't appropriate: it's not a resort! But that's OK. And you get what you pay for. And yes, breakfast is Italian, which means it's sugary and there are lots of cakes. The airconditioning worked well, the... More

Brilliant woman on the front desk and a great waitress serving breakfast - both very friendly, warm and helpful. The hotel was fine, room nice and big although the shower was tiny and spa features didn't function very well. Clean towels, empty bins and made bed everyday but the floor got very bitty towards the end of the week and... More

After staying here I can't understand the positive reviews on Tripadvisor. The hotel is in a very odd location. A good 15-20 minute walk to restaurants and the Pompeii site. The walk is on a busy industrial road with no other pedestrians, just factories and railroad tracks. I found the front desk staff rude and unsmiling. The room was small... More

This is quite a smart hotel within easy driving distance to The Ruins & the town centre. The room was very nice with a small balcony and the bed was comfortable. The wifi connection in the room was very strong. Pity there were no English speaking channels on the TV - not even news ones. The restaurant was nicely decorated... More

Loved this hotel. Quite a walk to the archelogical site. But the main Pompeii train station is within ten minutes and you can get a train to pompei scavi from there. The breakfast was tasty. The croissants were soaked with sugar and very yummy. The hotel looks great on the outside and the in. The air conditioning unit is one... More

Friendly and very helpfull staff we were treated like part of the family, good location to every thing and quiet. Great view of volcano From balcony. Even though I had a car I was told to leave it in the car park and were driven to and from when we wanted to go out. Thank you for a memorable time.

It was a nice hotel with some nice touches, but overall was quite a long walk to the centre of town and the ruins. The room had a balcony, and a shower which lit up, played the radio and had water jets in, but did spit out quite a lot of grit. Breakfast was nice, I'm gluten free and they... More

Only a short stroke to the ruins. Our room was nice and clean and the air con was really effective. Staff were really pleasant especially the pregnant lady on reception (sorry I didn't get her name) there is a bit I an issue with noise in the corridor, and was not happy to be woken by an American idiot having... This was a nice hotel but not a 'resort' in any sense of the word. The staff were very friendly and the check in & out went smoothly. The biggest drawback is the location. It is about 20 to 25 mins walk from anything of value, including the restaurant strip and the entry to the Pompeii ruins. The rooms are... More
