My partner and I stayed at Hotel Micalo for three nights and our experience was fantabulous from start to finish. The hotel is in a slightly rundown building but once you enter the hotel foyer the attention & care to detail and the design aesthetic is immediately apparent. Ornate furnishings, artwork, and 'out of the box' design features make this... More

We stayed at Hotel Micalo for 4 nights and it was quite lovely. The design of the interior is lovely- the art was intriguing. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and breakfast was a nice touch. The only problem was the shower- the water did not drain properly and the wooden board above it was hard to stand on.

A little more shabby than chic. Not quite the boutique hotel advertised. The staff are brilliant with a great knowledge of the city and local area and the reception is manned all the time. The Hotel is quite a distance from the centre of Naples and a 10 - 15 minute walk to the Castel Dell' Ovo and about 20... More

I stayed at the Micalo with my son recently for one night. I found the Micalo through a review in the Guardian. The hotel is a lovely small hotel - maybe six rooms with quirky artwork and really great staff, modern furnishings, right on the seafront, about three metro stops from the city centre. Although it's not downtown there are... More

Well.. The room where I staied had a king bed.. Honestly. Looked good.. Too noise outside.. Quite good breakfast but.. 140 euro is a little bit exaggerated for what you can get get there.. Nice the lady which works there.. Not intrusive and kind. I see 140.. too much for that level.. O would give 80-90 for a such place

I booked the Micalo based on the good reviews on Trip Advisor. However our experience was anything but that. The hotel staff was nice, but that was it. The hotel is being sold as a boutique hotel with charm and character, but really it is just a run down place. I paid $180 per night so it's not like it... More

The room the client is referring to is the same room for which have had many excellent reviews in the last months. The clients and their child arrived on a rainy May evening and were clearly upset with the weather and didn't like Naples, but it appeared by the favourable comments that they liked the hotel. They immediately enquired if... More

Located within easy reach of good restaurants and bars. The hotel has a unique atmosphere, because of the unusual design features. My room was very comfortable and very spacious. The staff were all very polite and friendly.

Lovely stay at this small hotel in Napoli. Breakfasts were small but delicious! All the staff incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was very good with excellent WIFI and Sky TV. We would happily stay again..! The location was served by two train stations, both a 10 minute walk away.

The customer service is hands on one of the best my partner and I have experienced in Naples, Italy. Their hospitality is very much in need when you want to catch a break from this rough city. Being located in the Chiaia Riviera makes it very pleasurable as the bay area of the city is unspoilt and lovely for a... More

We stayed at Micalo last week and will not hesitate to return. The rooms are delightful- we had a balcony with wonderful view of the Bay of Naples. Our first two nights were in a more expensive large hotel, however Micolo wins hands down, with loads more style and a feeling of luxe service for a considerably lower cost. Michele... More
