The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they helped us organise our day (museums and restaurants). The bedrooms are modern/design and comfortable. Breakfast was nice - simple. Building looks a bit run down.

My wife and I have stayed at Hotel Micalo twice and plan to return in October. We have to say that the only reason we have gone to Naples is because of this hotel although we have now come to appreciate Naples as well . We have given the hotel an excellent rating in all categories except swimming pools and... More

I feel bad giving this hotel such a poor review because the staff were so nice, but for travelers (like we were) looking for a hotel and only having these reviews to rely on, I've gotta be honest. When the taxi first dropped us off my husband and I were admittedly a little scared. The building this place is in... More

We stayed six nights on a vacation in May. The staff at Hotel Micalo makes this an exceptional hotel – all were very helpful and friendly, but Demitris in particular is a special individual who deserves kudos! From scheduling restaurants, suggesting tours or site seeing itineraries, or assisting with flight accommodations he was incredibly helpful and his personal assistance started... More

I really wanted to like this hotel based on the great reviews. But my sleeping experience here wasn't good. I had booked a deluxe two bedroom in the front for 160 euro/night, so I had sort of high expectations. My bag was delayed at the airport so I asked for a toothbrush kit on arrival (which is common at "boutique... More

We stayed a couple of nights and the service was unbelievably helpful. The advice honest and spot on. The rooms? Well lets just say impractical shall we. The bathroom is on a mezzanine level up a narrow staircase with massive steps and ropes for hand rails. You definitely would not like a visit in the dark. There is no suitable... More

its a retro place to stay but getting tired and left out. BUT THE STAFF and service is one of the best. Its a pity the owners have not made an effort to update the hotel. HOpe they do because the service of their staff is unbelievable. BRAVO

Stayed with my family 3 weeks ago. The hotel is actually situated far from the city center / shopping street, but it has its advantages. Location is Quiet at night (as the shopping strip can get noisy). There is construction happening in front of the hotel. i think they are building the underground train system. Hotel rooms are basic. beds... More

About to compose a mini-essay on the charms of Naples and Micalò, I first read prior reviews. Now, all I need to do is endorse them: the warm welcome from Michele and Dimitri and their spot-on advice/helpfulness, the light, art-filled contemporary decor, *most* comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, and, the perfect location. The Metro construction someone commented on may be a... More

With the waterfront on one side with all of its restaurants and shops and on the other side narrow streets lined with bars, restaurants, and shops, and art museum, the Micalo is the perfect location in Naples, particularly if you like to walk. However, it's best asset is, Dimitrios, who is a wealth of enthusiastic information about Naples. Once he... More
