If you need a good base in the centre of Naples I would recommend this hotel - lovely spacious rooms to a very high standard, very friendly staff and good continental breakfast. The only drawback for me is the entrance to the hotel is located down a dirty side street and it can get a bit noisy on market day.

Hotel San Pietro is a gem in Naples! It offers very nice rooms in good shape and very clean with an elevator, a more than continental breakfast and little bar area to have a glass of wine. We got excellent service from both the manager himself and another man who spoke excellent English and helped us with the little details... More

We stayed one night at this hotel. They require passports to be handed over at check in. We did this. At check out early the next morning we paid our bill, there was a commotion, and our passports were not returned. In all the commotion we did not demand the passports - mistake. We called soon after, asked for them... More

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel through work. I was a bit worried before going after i had read some of the reviews on this site.. I encountered no problems whatsoever. Neither did any of my 15 colleagues. NO bedbugs, friendly staff, clean rooms. They make a really nice cappuccino - breakfast consist of different dolci, but that's very... More

We decided on a few days (on a limited budget) in Naples as a base from which to explore the city sights and local heritage points such as Ercolano and Pompei. The Hotel San Peitro (HSP) was selected from the reviews on this site and we were glad we picked it - not difficult to find (we arrived at the... More

This hotel was "Recommended by European Destinations" was the only one I booked following their recommendations(I stayed in 5 hotels). Near train station, but the worse area, every fri, sat. sun they have an open faire around the hotel, they start at 6am unloading trucks, traffic, people screaming, selling stuff. But this is nothing. The Worse: "BED BUGS" crawling everywhere,... More

We chose to stay here because of the reviews we read on Tripadvisor. The first night we were in a room on the 5th floor and it was scorching hot. We asked to be moved to a room with air conditioning. The second night we woke up with bites everywhere. Arms, legs, feet. The bites were bad and lasted over... More

The hotel is close to the railway station and not far from the historical center. But very dangerous location! Familiarity and rudeness of the staff. One night the receptionist rushed into the room without any warning or knocking about 5 am! it's outrageous! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to stay at this hotel! If only for one night to take... If you are looking for a clean, quiet place to stay in a sometimes crazy city then this will be fine. The guy at the front desk was helpful with directions and while the guy who served breakfast wasn't the friendliest, he made great cappucinos. It's clean and safe and actually quiet even though it's one block of the main... More

Spent 6 nights at San Pietro and enjoyed it. Hotel used to be quite grand 20 yrs ago, now its a bit worn out but the rooms are good size, all the required services are there, the lobby is lovely, the staff is friendly. The loction is excellent, close to train station and walking distance to old town. Very close... More
