This is a small hotel in a building spread over over two floors, so it's like having a serviced room, the reception is issue small area and doubles as the breakfast are with 3 small tables So there is no bar area which would be nice to relax in, as this hotel is in the university area most bars were closed... I agree with much of what Alibaba2 said in October 2012. I try to be fair, so having returned yesterday, here goes. We got the Alibus from the airport to the port (4 Euros). Walked along the front, first main road to the left, first left then first right, take the left fork and the "hotel" is almost immediately on... More

I have stayed at Schilizzi hotel twice and will do the same whenever I come to Naples. It has several advantages. It is situated in a central but quiet part of Naples. You may have problems with finding it for the first time but then you will find the situation absolutely perfect. No beautiful views from the windows but you... More

We chose Schilizzi because it was the best value for a cheap price. The others were right at the main railway station where it can be dodgy at night (according to travel books and locals alike). This hotel is 2-5 minutes walk from: the Airport bus, another bus station for Amalfi buses, the port, Castel nuovo and a Metro station.... More

We spent one night in this hotel after finding a great rate on booking.com. The location is OK and the room spacious. The problems were: (a) a dingy little TV set on the wall which was smaller than the monitor of my home PC; (b) very few channels available; large bathroom with no window and an extremely offensive, foul odor... The hotel is actually several rooms within an apartment block with other very noisy residents and businesses within the building. Our room was very small with a cot(although we had no children with us) and a wardrobe with doors hanging off the hinges and no rail hence the cot came in handy to hang our clothes on. The TV had... We arrived at the hotel at ~6:30 am, coming straight from the ferry from Palermo. There was no problem leaving our bags so early, even though our room was not available. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the ferry port, and similar into the centre of Naples. The staff were excellent, helpful and efficiant. The room was pleasant... More

A well located hotel for exploring Naples. Near enough to the central station for trips out to explore the wider region but not too close to suffer for it. The hotel is actually in a typical Napolese apartment building, with the hotel reception and breakfast room on a different floor to our room and (I think) private apartments around us.... More

Nice and cozy hotel, very well placed, we found a nice personnel wich gave us good tips about where to eat and what to visit in the city. The room was a little bit small but that wasn't a problem sice we were away all the day long visiting.
