I have been in Naples twice already and i have not had a special experience. The classic" 5 stars" hotels are way too anonymous and expensive for a city which is the contrary of anonimity. So for this trip i let my mother pick this special hotel - DONNA REGINA - where she had stayed in the past and trusted... more

Whilst the room was pleasant, and the living room was spacious, we were saddened to have one of our passport s and other personal papers disposed of (presumably accidentally) by cleaning staff. Domenico's local recommendations were patchy. He didn't mention some excellent restaurants nearby but gushed about some poor quality places much further afield (e.g. a restaurant in Piazza Bellini).... more

Although we only had time on our travels for 1 day and 1 night in Naples, my husband and I consider this B&B one of the highlights of our stay! Walking to the residence from the train station, we were at first dissapointed at the run-down older buildings and dirty streets (and that says a lot living in Brooklyn!). However,... more

We stayed for a full 10 days at Donna Regina. It is centrally located in Naples, so you can do it all on foot or with the efficient subway. It is a beautiful place on the 4th floor of an old building. Very friendly people (Mimmo, Gabriella and Rowenta) took care for us. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast and were... more

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the experience. Staying here was one of the highlights of the Naples weekend, Pompeii being another one. The artwork really dazzles you from the moment you walk into the property, there is so much of it everywhere, even in the bathroom! The only person managing the B&B at the time... more

Stayed here 22/9/07 for two nights. Paid 95 Euro prpn B&B. Booked through Venere. As reported by others, this accommodation is located along a back street and accessed through an obscure entrance and then up several floors in a rickety lift, but not really a problem. We were met by an elderly ‘housekeeper’, who spoke only Italian, but was still... more

It is hard to imagine anywhere else as charming and interesting as Donna Regina B&B. Owner Dominic made us feel immediately welcome, sharing his recommendations for places to see, things to do, and places to dine. His enthusiasm for his inn and his city was infectious. The rooms are comfortable and different - ours featured almost 6 meter ceilings and... more

This place blows your mind. Like no place I've ever stayed. If only Naples itself was as good as this little place. On our arrival Dominic, the owner, sat us down with a glass of wine to point out on a map everywhere we needed to go. He gave us a gentle warning about Naples ("It's lovely if you know... more

Stayed here with my husband at the beginning of August for our first visit to Naples. Without wishing to sound over effusive I cannot say enough good things about our stay here. The booking procedure via e-mail with Anna was simple and efficient and put me at ease. As other reviewers have noted the entrance is not especially inviting but... more

I stayed three nights here and highly recommend this place. It is conveniently located. Dominic was extremely helpful and his recommendations for meals etc were very satisfactory. I found the B&B to be an oasis of calm within the chaos of Naples. more
