This was my second time in this hotel and the first time I had loved it. This time I think it was still good but just a bit worse. I got a small room this time with a window looking at another window, it was a bit darker inside. The shower was in need of some regulation from super hot... More

Travel books often warn about the chaos of Naples. My wife and I found it to be a delightful surprise. A key element may be the choice of hotels. Ours was in a quiet area of Naples; the underground transit was a short walk away. (Be sure to buy a ticket for the transit even though no one may be... More

Stayed here twice on a recent holiday in Italy. It's well located close to the major shopping areas, many of the sights and the sea front. Once you step through its doors, it's an oasis of calm in a lovely city. Quirky shaped bedrooms have all that you need; the staff are very helpful; the breakfast is a varied and... More

We stayed 5 nights at the Alabardieri while traveling through the region. The accommodations and included breakfast were really nice and well done. We did have one issue when booking a day trip through the front desk. We asked for a guided tour through Pompeii and the hotel booked us a driver only. This was a big disappointment as you... More

Right in the heart of the Chaiai district, and a short walk from the sea front. The area immediately around the hotel is buzzing with up market shops and little bars. It was easy to walk out beyond this area though into the real life of Naples. The staff were very helpful with booking taxis and giving directions. Whilst we... More

Stayed here recently for 7 nights and couldn't be happier with the room and the service. It is a lovely oasis of calm in the hustle and bustle of Naples. The room was lovely and spacious and breakfast was delicious and with a reasonably good buffet choice. The staff were unobtrusive but efficient and it was a delight to come... More

When I booked this hotel I accidentally pressed the button that committed us to staying or losing our three days booking cost (I always book with a no fee refundable booking). It was with some chagrin as our taxi took us from the train station and we looked at Naples with their unfortunate graffiti covered buildings insane traffic and groups... More

I stayed one night in this hotel and did not enjoy my stay at all. The room was adequate but in the middle of the night I realized there were tiny ants all over the bathroom floor. On the morning I departed there was a storm, and I wasn't sure whether my hydrofoil would be cancelled. The receptionist was very... More

Staff were great, room quiet and lovely, hotel is really a great cut above the norm. air con was a little temperamental and noisy, and a minor issue with lights was quickly rectified by staff. Would normally give this 5* but felt wasn't quite there and I travel a lot - saying that I would return anytime What else, breakfast... More
