The Lonely Planet guide absolutely raved about this place and I really can't see why. It's certainly different from the average hotel, but at the money they're charging there are a lot better hotels to try. Boutique hotels are fun and this is no exception we stayed in an oriental themed room, with moscito net, cushions and the superb feature... more

I emailed the Portalba 33 three different times trying to make a booking. I never heard a peep from them so I booked through I-Escape. I was never told to notify them exactly what time we were arriving. We were just told we needed to make special arrangements if we were arriving after 9 pm. We arrived around 4 pm... more
