It is always a pleasure to rest few days in Naples and be transported by the rithms of the town and its people. Hotel Chiaja reflects these feelings. Located along via Chiaja, on the border with Quartieri Spagnoli, one of the most populated and traditional compound of the town, Hotel Chiaja in an old residence dated around 1700 and manged... Aside from a couple of charming, helpful young women at the reception desk, this place disappointed in every respect. First, the price -- nearly 350 euros for two nights -- was wildly overpriced for what was, at best, a "budget hotel" experience. My so-called jacuzzi bath consisted of an old tub whose porcelain was stained fitted out with whirlpool jets.... More

We traveled there as a couple this November and we were really impressed by the location and staffs of this hotel. The location is really good and central. Near to via Toledo and many other attractions. The staffs are really helpful and did give us nice suggestions to eat around. Their wifi is good in the lobby area but it... More

Spent two nights in this hotel and really appreciated the location. Staff went out of their way to help us purchase a train ticket online when we realized we had missed our train. Sights, shops and restaurants close by. Great cup of coffee downstairs by the big gate that closes during siesta. Loved the hobbit door entrance.

It’s a hotel in an interesting location, near the beautiful Piazza del Plebiscito. We could not say it is a “hotel de charme” as our standard room, on the second floor, was quite small and by no means looked like the pictures of similar rooms on the website. The second floor is by no means as charming as the first... More

Hidden off the [pedestrianized during the day] Via Chiaia near the Piazza del Plebiscito, the Hotel Chiaia is a quirky but comfortable place to stay in Naples. Entrance to the courtyard is through an imposing doorway; several other businesses share the courtyard--a lingerie shop, children’s clothes, outdoor wear. Go up the big staircase at the rear, and the reception area... More

Can't beat the location but this hotel is old and some rooms looked worn and needed update, bathroom was small. Breakfast was very good and staff friendly. Wifi was spotty. We had a balcony that looked out on the lively street, fortunately the walls and windows blocked out all the street noise. Breakfast area was very small so different tour... More

This was a great and friendly place to stay in, in an extremely convenient location. At first it was a little hard to locate as you have to go through a small door on the street and find the hotel upstairs. The accommodation was excellent, as it was very comfortable and the pastries constantly on offer were delicious. Breakfast was... More

-- Location: On a popular pedestrian shopping street in a very nice section of Naples. A wide variety of restaurants is close by as is a Metro stop for the line that goes to the Archaeological Museum. Felt safe in the daytime and evening. -- Room: Our room was a good size; clean; comfortable bed; adequate closet space. -- Staff:... More

The hotel is clean, bedroom was big and staff very friendly. We asked a triple room and the second bed was very very small. My major disappointment was the breakfast, and although there is not a big breakfast culture in Italy, the coffee was not so good, the bread seemed as out of a box and limited additional options. I... More
