We found a wonderful surprise in a beautiful renovated property in the center of Naples. A large spacious room with a balcony overlooking the city center and Naples Bay. The front desk staff were phenomenal, especially Guisseppi. He is the true ambassador for the city of Naples. He helped us explore the city and led us to two wonderful restaurants... More

Continuing on our seven week vacation we arrived by car in Naples. A few points - the first being that the entrance to the City with a shanty town on its door step is not good and we were starting to wonder just where we had come to, as we got into the City there are parts that are really... More

I stayed at Hotel Grand Oriente, Naples with my wife for two nights between 16-18th June'15. Located just 50 m. from Toledo station on Metro Line 1, I found the reception staff (in different shifts) most helpful and with positive attitude. They communicated well in English language. We stayed on the 8th Floor in a very neat and well appointed... More

My husband and I recently spent a week at the Grand Hotel Oriente. Our room was spacious, clean and modern. An expansive breakfast buffet in an attractive dining room was included in the room cost. The staff at the front desk spoke English and were very helpful with directions and advice. This hotel is situated about 400 yards from the... More

Naples is oft bypassed because of it's gritty reputation. I recently spent some time there and enjoyed myself immensely. The city is full of energy! It's also a great place to be for day trips to Vesuvius, Pompeii and several islands that are reachable by ferries and hydrofoils. This hotel was fantastic! The room was large, clean and had a... I had the pleasure of staying in the Grand Hotel Oriente in April, after a long day of travelling! I didn't spend much time in Naples, as I wanted to visit Pompeii. The hotel is very central and has easy access to the Metro, with a short journey to the circumvesuviana trains to Pompeii and Sorrento (my next destination). I... More

This is in a great location with decent sized rooms that are well provisioned. The wifi was free and fine. Breakfast was a continental buffet and average (the juice could be fresh for example). We stayed three nights and enjoyed our stay (which was at a reasonable price).

Naples is nuts- no doubt. What was refreshing in the midst of this crazy city was Grand Hotel Oriente. I recently stayed on the 8th floor, which had a terrace and amazing view of Mt Vesuvius. The staff spoke excellent English, which was a a plus considering my abysmal Italian. So yes, the room were fancy, clean, and a joy... More

Excellent service and positive vibe as soon as you walk in, reception/concierge gives you all information you could need whilst in your stay in Naples. Room is recently renovated and very tasteful, it was quite spacious and we were not found wanting. Breakfast was among the best we have had in any hotel with great coffee also.

My cousins and I recently visited Naples, We stayed at the Grand Hotel Oriente. Well located nearby the old city, the hotel is well appointed and the modern rooms are very comfortable. We drove in and parked the car at the nearby hotel operated garage. The staff were friendly and helpful. They arranged a walking tour for us as well... More
