The room was dim- only one light that worked- and it felt very grungy and dirty. The 'queen size' bed was two twin beds pushed together: I have been in this situation before and have never minded it, but at Hotel La Pace the twin beds were on different frames on different levels and constantly moved apart during the night.... Cheapest we could find with a 3-star rating. It was very noisy (you can hear the neighbours speak). Room was big. No wifi in rooms. Located near main station = rough neighbourhood but ok. Breakfast = coffee and a sweet croissant. In its price range, ok.

Previous reviewers saved my time and covered it all: old, run down, smelly hotel in walking proximity to the station (only positive aspect!). Mold and shower bugs in bathroom, plastic sink and broken toilet. AC unit not working, window curtain not moving. 2 single beds pushed together in lieu of king, sockets are so old and broken that too dangerous... More

This hotel is disgusting! My room is outdated and very dirty! Mold is growing in the bathroom. The mattresses and pillows are well over 10 years old, I would estimate by their brown colour. It is situated near the main train station, which really is not an ideal location for tourists, especially if you're female, travelling alone, or generally want... More

We arrived on Sunday and received the room . It was clean and nice but after comimg back the next day at night after leaving Monday morning for a tour in Naples we were amazed to see that the room wasn't made , no new towels , no soaps , no shampoos , no toilet paper . The breakfast was... More

We stayed for one night in this hotel. The area is really not very nice - it's close to the train station, but really dodgy, dirty and not representative of Napoli. One of the beds in the room broke just by sitting on it, the shower didn't really work. The breakfast, which was supposed to be included in the price,... More

We stayed for a night in Hotel La Pace on our way to the Amalfi coast. The hotel is walking distance (10 minutes) form the station but the neighbourhood was shabby and the roads full with rubbish! The staff were not particularly helpful or friendly. Breakfast was included in the room price but it was not worth waking up early... More

We went there for 3 nights. Had to change room - broken window, in general 1st room like someone died in it. No problem with changing room. Standard 2*. Guy at reception really moody, but helped when asked. The men which was covering reception on night 24-25.02.2013 ---- was asleep, turned off all the lights in the lobby at 10pm,... More

We booked this hotel on Laterooms. It was a confirmed booking including breakfast. When we arrived they told us that there had been a problem and there were no rooms available. They sent us nextdoor to the Hotel Prati. Now, we accept that sometimes hotels will get overbooked but when that happens it's normal to be relocated to somewhere of... More

Staff were very helpful and friendly. However my hot water wasnt working so they changed my room. They the fixed the irst room and put my things back in the older room without me knowing. Not very good practice. Hotel is ok for budget travel but not good enough if you are paying a decent price.
