On paper the hotel looked like a great value for money in a great location. Unfortunately that wasn't the case at all. The room was so small, we couldn't even fit 2 suitcases. Cleanliness lower than the average. Unbearably hot, there was no air conditioning unit in the room rather than a fan which in 40 degrees cannot help much,... more

Hotel Europeo is a great budget choice. I found my room to be perfectly clean - an absolute requirement for me. The bathroom was roomy by European standards, and we even had a little balcony with a clothesline. The location is fantastic - right in the heart of the "old town" area, and right by the university. There are plenty... more

After checking the reviews on tripadvisor, I decided to give it a go. The hotel is located on the 3rd and 4th floor of a building. As mentioned, make sure you have 10 cents to use the small elevator to bring your luggage up to your floor. The room was really hot and moist when we first arrived, as it... more

I highly recommend this hotel for budget travelers (we got a very good deal from hotels.ca). The location is very close to Naples' historical centre (Spaccanapoli), so it's a good base for exploring the area by foot. Our rooms were simple, small, and clean. No air conditioner, only fan. But since it was still May, we didn't have problem with... more

Naples is a strange city. This hotel is in the historic centre. It's a studenty area opposite the university and the street the hotel is in feels fairly safe. The alleyway leading to the hotel is also fine. There are lots of stairs if you don't pay to use the lift but we had no problem with the stairs though... more

We arrived to the hotel at night, and I must say we were all a little worried about how bad it looked. I mean, this place looked really ghetto. But when we got in the hotel room, it was clean. The person at the desk was helpful and spoke english. There was free wireless internet. The room was really small... more

This hotel is a quiet, clean, and well located budget choice in bustling Naples. It's right across from the university, so the street is full of people (along with booksellers and snack snops) at all hours - that made me feel safe as a solo traveler. The hotel's building is set back from the street, so my room, which overlooked... more

This hotel is really good value for money. The location is really convenient within the historic part of the city. It is very close also to Dante Piazza metro station. The staff is very friendly as well. The rooms are small, but very adequate with a comfortable bed. There is no AC but there is a ceiling fan. It was... more

Across the street from the University of Naples and only steps from Naples' historic core, the Hotel Europeo is in a great location for exploring Naples. It's also quite near several bus and tram lines. I felt quite safe in the area, even at night - an important consideration for solo female travelers. As other TA reviewers have noted, the... more

We are a family of 4 and stayed in 1 quad room. The hotel occupies the 4th floor in an appartment building, you need to climb 9 flights of stairs to get to the hotel (you can take an elevator which just fits 1 person and a bag - costs you 10 euro cents). The hotel room was tight, with... more
