The Ausonia is a good option for travellers in Naples. It is in Mergellina, a safe pleasant seaside area with plenty of restaurants and bars, both on the coast and the streets inland. This hotel was extremely clean with wonderful showers. The clerks at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful! We paid 115 Euros in September and it was well worth the price, especially for the great location it was in. It is within walking distance of the train station and many, many shops. more

Excellent hotel at moderate price, right opposite the hydrofoils on the Mergellina sea-front, departing for Capri, Ischia, Proscida. Walking distance to all the main sights in Naples city centre. Great service and hospitality. Good size rooms, all comforts. Will definitely stay there every time I visit Naples and would recommend it to anyone else who is interested. more
