Unlike the luxurious lobby and the breakfast room, our room was dark and far from fancy. It was up in the fifth floor facing the court yard. Furniture was old, wall paper was stained. Our travel agent got us a room with a view but somehow it turned out different probably because we arrived late. Breakfast was superb, and the... More

We have stayed at this hotel many times and every time we visit. we are impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and their ability to help make your stay memorable. We stayed in a suite again and it was cleaned to a high standard every day without fail.I found the Wifi reception in the room good, without... More

We planned our visit to Naples with a bit of trepidation having noted safety issues detailed in numerous Trip Advisor reviews. We planned our trip in collaboration with a local tour guide. We discussed our concerns about safety as well as our need for a comfortable, clean hotel with real air conditioning (i.e. something that cools below 74 degrees F).... More

It's a lovely old beautiful hotel, full of ornate furniture and architecture. If you want to be near the water, it's the place to be. But if you want to hit the street scene, markets, shopping, or anything else, it's a hike or cab fare. The staff were wonderful and very polite. The continental breakfast in the morning was superb.... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights as a base for visiting Pompeii during our Italian tour and as a chance to see some of Napoli. We found the hotel's location to be pretty good as there were many fine restaurants nearby and a ten minute walk led to the beautiful Piazza del Plebiscito and onwards to some... More

Stayed 3 nights in July. Although the hotel is Grand, it seemed to lack atmosphere. There didn't appear to be many people staying here and the bar always seemed empty. My room was a good size, clean, well furnished and overlooked an internal courtyard. The air conditioning was noisy so I turned it off at night. Breakfast was adequate with... More

We have stayed in larger hotels in Naples but this is smaller and more intimate as we were having a family reunion. The staff were friendly but some of the breakfast staff could do with learning that a smile goes a long way.The food at breakfast was good but had rather a lot of cakes! The location is so good not... More

We left Positano, and drove via a stop off in Pompei up to Naples for the last night of our trip. We arrived in Naples mid morning. We had already dropped the hire car off before arriving at the hotel, and came in by taxi. Bellboys were on hand to bring in our luggage, we got checked in, and headed... More

Very nice hotel. The staff was overall very friendly. Allthough the staff at breakfast was always grumpy. She managed to neglect us every time and we had to ask her if we could get some coffee, and this happend every morning. The staff at conciërgedesk were very friendly in trying to help us finding something to do, but they didn't... More

We stayed here one night for the opera and it was fine. But it was very tired. The corridors have large scratches and in our room we couldn't work Sky, the shower was broken so you had to remove part of the metal to get it it work. The air con was really loud too! The staff were nice though,... More
