We have stayed in this hotel several times and I truly cannot say that I have ever enjoyed a hotel more than I have enjoyed this one. The hotel has some place that it seems a little dated but, in many respects, that adds to the experience in a positive way. The staff is very competent and welcoming. They speak... More

The hotel is conveniently located close to the main shopping streets (Via Toledo, Via Chiaia) and situated nicely by the bay of Naples in a quiet area. You should however not mind walking a bit in case you intend visiting the museums of Naples. The hotel is a little run down (especially the rooms as the common areas if of... More

This is a gorgeous hotel. It is just on the sea and you will enjoy very much a room with sea view. The rooms are large and clean. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent with a breathtaking view. Great breakfasts. Very closed to everything you want to enjoy in that beautiful city

We had a second floor room overlooking the castle and the waterfront, and spent hours just watching the people of Naples enjoy the fine weather. The room was clean, upscale, modern and comfortable. Breakfast is average each day, and the restaurant staff seemed cold and a little irritated that we were there. No one seems to use the restaurant and... More

Great Location overlooking bay of Naples near Seaport, great seaside restaurants, shopping and major attractions. The hotel was excellent, the staff very friendly and accommodating (Ask for Oceanview Superior Room or Suite).

I was lucky and stayed on the 3rd floor, with a nice view to Castel dell'Uovo. The room has nice enough. The A/C unit did some noise so the first thing I did everytime I got to the room was to shut down the air fan. Large bed with good pillows. Breakfast was pretty normal, cheese, ham, scrambled eggs and... More

I really do not know why this hotel is rated 4star apart from its location and the charming reception rooms on the ground floor. Our room was really old, it literally smelled of mould or old furniture and old carpets. There was a vinegary stale smell in the bathroom. The furniture seems to be as old as 1950s, the pillows... Room was nice, service good, although the desk staff was a bit cold. Room was roomy, bathroom worked well, everything you'd expect in this price range. Be aware that the AC doesn't work in April as seems to be the case in most any hotel in Italy. Would have given this place 4 stars, but we were ripped off by... More

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Santa Lucia, following a recommendation from Italian friends. The reception staff was very welcoming and gave directions to the local sights. We were upgraded to a suite, which was a very pleasant surprise. The room was very spacious and had a superb view of the coast. Good breakfast room. There are a number of... More
