A very nice business small hotel in the center of napoli! more
Me and my wife were guest of this hotel for one night. The purpose of our trip was a visit to the fantastic and magic city of Naples. The hotel is very central but still out from the caos of the city. by a short walk you can reach the old town as well as the shopping area and the... more
The location is unbeatable if you plan to travel out to the islands. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a little run down and could do with some modernistation. However, for the price I thought it was good value. Note- I did find a hair in the bathroom so perhaps could have been cleaner! more
We were recommended this hotel by a colleague who travels a lot and weren't disappointed. Well, I guess the first night we were a bit (we stayed for 3 in the end), as the room was very dark. No problem, the next morning we asked to stay another night, but somewhere lighter and we were given a lovely, much bigger... more
Well, we didnt expect much and in reality we were pleasantly surprised with what we got. Room was fine, quite large and located on the front of the hotel. Noise wasnt a problem due to very good double glazing. Bathroom was great, very spacoius, clean and up to date. Unfortunately, the hotel has a habit of spraying the carpet with... more
The Mercure Centro is located well. Across the street from Piaza Municipio, and a 2 minute walk to the Molo Beverello from where you get the ferries to Capri Ischia Amalfi. So for Euro 99 and the location it served our purpose fine. The rooms are modern, no problem there, and although the staff are helpful they are not friendly.... more

The place's main advantages are: - its location - quite central in Naples, just 5 minutes walk to the harbor to take the ferry to Capri; - the fact it belongs to a chain makes it is standard - hence you know more or less... more
We stayed at this hotel for our last night in Italy coming from a 2 week stay on the Amalfi coast. It was not what we expected and a huge disappointment all around. The room was dark and dismal, not especially clean and very depressing. The bathroom was small and the shower so tiny you could barely turn around. We... more
We chose the Mercure Angioino in early March 2006 because it seemed to be in a convenient position for staying in central Naples. It was, and we were very glad we didn't choose one near Piazza Garribaldi which would have been a nightmare at night. As it was we found several nice little places to eat very near the hotel... more
There are other hotels in Napoli, where for the same price you can get much a much better deal. This big "chain" hotel is really not up to the standards of Mercure hotels, except for the stuff's politeness and kind assistance. The rooms are noisy and have nothing exceptional, but because the building is so old you may even run... more
