If we had booked more than one night we certainly would not have stuck around for it... Terribly outdated. It may have been nice at one time. This place is meager at best. Apparently, stars in Europe do not translate to US standards. Admittedly a tough critic but this hotel wasn't even close more

This is a nice hotel. The breakfast was good, the room and the bathroom was so big and always clean! :) And the view from the balcony, was really really nice!!!!! Tipp: you have to pay for the parking (15 EUR/day). The staff was helpness, and kind. more

Not so much a gem as a fossil. If you like to feel you have fallen through a timewarp then this is the place for you. The restaurant menu reads like a cordon bleu cookbook from the 1970s. Unfortunately this date was also the most recent that they washed the curtains. Service: the staff try, but there's only so much... more

We had an overnight stay at this hotel before catching a flight out of Naples. This hotel was formerly a private residence built for the mistress of Ferdinand 1. It is quiet and elegant with antique furniture and large rooms. The cost of the accommodation was also excellent. The hotel is not right in the very centre of Naples but... more

We have stayed many times at the Britannique hotel, always finalizing our annual vacation at the Amalficoast, with a couple of days in Naples. The hotel has many issues one might find worthy of complaining about. However! This grand old lady with all her wrinkles has the magic of age and history. She may need a full facial and massive... more

This hotel is situated in the Vomero district of Naples and there are great views from here. Although served by buses and the nearby funicular, there are few restaurants very close to the hotel. This is a disadvantage if you've been out all day and don't want to travel too far again for an evening meal. The hotel rooms are... more

We liked to hotel so much; old fashioned house, antique furnitures and a breathtaking panorama from the room. At the front desk were very helpful to solve all our little problems and very warm people. We reccomend this hotel and will return at Britannique for next visit to Naples. more

I have been to many hotels with impressive service at a reasonable price. But the quality of this hotel proved to be the cheapest in Naples. The rooms were okay, though the shower was shaky and the breakfast was plain. The main problem was the staff's attitude at a front desk. I booked for three nights, and the manager told... more

Just spent a weekend here and found the hotel location to be brilliant. It was just far enough from the centre to feel comfortable walking round at night and close enough to walk there during the day. Don’t think the hotel provide double beds as we were promised one but this never materialised. Nevertheless the twin beds were clean and... more

The Hotel Britannique is a gentile, old-fashioned hotel in an attractive part of Naples. I would not describe it as elegant. We stayed there in January when there were relatively few guests, which may partially account for the high quality of service and the spacious feeling about the hotel. Our room was tastefully appointed and there was a garage for... more
