We were so pleased with our choice of this hotel. The location is perfect, our balcony was facing the water and the Dell'Ovo castle. Buffet breakfast was great, and had a variety of choices. We absolutely recommend this place! It is clean. Great eating spots at the same street. Felt very safe walking at night on the closed-to-traffic street of... More

We spent a great week here in Sep 2014 (at the same time as various business conferences) and it exceeded expectations. Fabulous location, delightful, friendly staff, and Naples- bonkers, dirty, chaotic, magnificent and addictive Naples is a short walk from this marvellous seaside hotel.

Very safe part of Naples, great location. 25 minutes from Naples airport (30 euros). Had a room on 9th floor, large balcony, great view. Lots of restaurants near the castle just across the street. Large breakfast buffet, good restaurant if you want to dine in. Free Wifi. Quiet because there is little traffic outside, very good street for strolling, jogging. 45... More

The hotel is composed by 2 hotels which now are under the same management and a new longer name. The Royal, which is a little more upscale, traditional but older and the Continental, from the 90's, little more modern but simpler I believe. I stayed at the the Royal side. The check in was speedy enough but one thing was... More

In Naples your Hotel Choices are usually based on a safe location. The Royal Continental is located directly on the waterfront. Walking distance to many great restaurants and local shops. The hotel is what you would expect in Naples, could use a interior upgrade but very comfortable and clean. I really cannot complain and would stay here again...

Located in an area that considered safe in Naples. By the sea , there are several hotels near. Not far away there are cafes and restaurants. Near the hotel entrance there is a good ice cream shop. Parking: Recommended to order the parking at the reservation time. (It cost about 23 Euro). Our room was overlooking the sea and the... More

Spent three nights here for a business trip. Old style hotel. I got a very dark room, almost hard to find my things when dark outside, but with a wonderful ocean view. Modern bathroom though. Very nice area close to good restaurants and plaza with bus connections. As I travel a lot I have become picky when it comes to... More

Plus points: location: the best you can get in Naples. The hotel is in the recently created pedestrian path of the lungomare, right opposite Castel dell'Ovo. If you have time, go outside very early, and enjoy the view of the sun rising in absolute silence! Service: kind, professional and helpful. Overall very clean. Breakfast was very good, with a great... More

When we arrived they gave us an upgrade to a suite with the most fabulous view of the marina with a back drop of Vesuvius. Huge terrace and suburb room, staff were very helpful and the nearby resturaunts were fab. If you fancy seeing the real Italy visit Naples, it's edgy but beautiful. This hotel is the best location, by... More

Spent 4 nights over half term at this hotel. We stayed in a corner junior suite on the 8th floor with 3 balconies and two mini bars which were topped up daily. The free wii-fi wasn't very good quite a lot of the time and it having to get a new code from reception every day was a little annoying... More
