Admittedly, the hotel is on the seashore promenade accross from the Catello del ovo. But what does that help me if most of the rooms actually face towards a brick wall, a noisy cobble stone street up the hill or the like? The lobby is pretty but like so often with hotels in Italy, that's it. The room I had... More

This Hotel is located at the coast where you can see the Naples coastline. The location is great. Just a short walk to the main shopping areas and restaurants. The Molo Boverello port is also a short 15 minute walk. The breakfast is great, with a beautiful view. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly. The... More

Spent a week here last August. The Hotel is very well serviced, all staff from reception, waiters, housekeeping and janitorial (we had a sink malfunction which was sorted out immediately) were fantastic. This is the right part of town to stay, as you're close to all of the major shopping areas, and are on the bay, directly across from the... More

The Royal Continental Hotel may have been a great hotel at one point, but now it has simply become outdated. Our room on the 9th floor was a decent size with a decent balcony that had views of the castle across the street. Everything about the room was stuck in 70’s however. The bed, while large, was thin, with poor... More

The location of this hotel is very good, as it is at the port. It is rather safe in this area, in a city of many unsafe areas. You can walk from the hotel to the top of the castel for a nice view of the sunset. The only way to stay in the hotel is in a water front... More

Having read a number of the reviews on this site, I was pleasantly surprised. I recently stayed at the Royal Continental for a conference. The view was superb. While it was true that the carpet in the room did show signs of wear, that was really only in the highest traffic areas (exiting the bathroom) and not excessive wear. I... More

The Hotel is in a perfect positioning, facing the gulf of Naples but still quite close to the centre. Our rooms (2 double rooms - baisc) were clean and with a comfortable bathroom; the only problem was that they were quite small (no room not even for a desk). The breakfast is very rich, with a wide offer of both... More

We stayed at the Royal Continental for three nights whilst attending a weekend meeting. Excellent and very spacious suite with great sea views (a free upgrade) Good facilities for our meeting, but did not use the hotel projector as quoted 2400 euros for the weekend. Reasonable buffet breakfast. This was my second visit to Naples, and would not hesitate to... More
