My family (2 adults and 3 children) just spent 5 nights at this gem of a hotel on the seafront in the Santa Lucia part of Napoli right on the sea front (start of Lungomare). The hotel itself is full of character (built in Art Deco era and has retained its style) with the most spectacular terrace with views directly... More

Our room (105) had a fantastic view of Naples Harbor and the staff was very welcoming....at first. The next day we were met with surly staff who seemed put out at having to clean our room at 2:30 pm. Hotel location was good. Air conditioning worked but did not cool the room. Luckily there was a breeze from the harbor... More

We ( 3 couples) stayed at the lovely hotel Mirame for three nights for our stay in Naples, and we were all very happy. The rooms were comfortable and lovely, the sea view from 2 of the rooms was amazing and we loved having breakfast on the rooftop terrace. The only negative was the air conditioning which did not work... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Miramare as part of a tour of the Amalfi Coast. What an incredible treat! We stayed in several hotels, many more "modern" and with 4-5 star ratings, but none beat the luxury, ambience and treatment we received here. This was once the American Embassy, but converted to a... My daughter my mother and I stayed at Hotel MirMare for 4 nights. The room was amazing , exactly as described, with breathtaking view of the bay and Vesuvius and the beds were so comfortable with lots of pillows. The gentlemen at the front desk were always offering suggestions to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast on the terrace was... More

We visited in April and were charmed by this old hotel. We had a view over the bay and to wake up to Vesuvius and go to bed seeing the lights of the huge liners leaving port was wonderful. I spent time (and would happily have spent more) photographing all the decor of this hotel from the lift to the... More

What do I look for in a hotel when sightseeing and traveling? Comfy bed, wonderful staff and comfort. Hotel Miramare ticked all the boxes. Now, the room decor is a bit dated, the wallpaper a bit tatty, but give me 4 pillows and spotless accommodations and I am one happy camper! And the view from my window was the Bay... More

So people told us not to go to Naples! "Dirty," they said. "Rough, dangerous." Being a native New Yorker, that didn't scare me away, and I'm glad it didn't. Sure, every city has its better and not so good neighborhoods. Hotel Miramare is in a lovely neighborhood, across from the water with views of Vesuvius. You can walk along a... More

We stayed here just one night. Grand old villa of 1918 facing the coastline converted to hotel. The lobby was nice with a Victorian feel. The lift was too small and too old. Our room was dark with no view. The shower was tight. A/c was not effective. The location was good. Near the centre with lots of restaurants around.... More

This waterfront hotel is full of charm, the owners are wonderful. The staff is very helpful. Additionally, the breakfast is served on the terrace each morning which has an incredible view of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Another boon is that each room is has a completely different and quite elegant design. From this hotel, many of the... More
