First trip to Naples, what a great hotel to have as a base for a 3 day visit. Location - this hotel has always been popular with royalty and the famous and no wonder - placed on the promenade with stunning views of the bay, mount Vesuvius and the islands as well as the castle just 100 yards away. There's a reason why movie stars, heads of state and world-famous celebrities of all walks have stayed here. It's an old world charm hotel that serves up world class service and rooms with unprecedented views. We were lucky enough to have a large corner suite with a wrap-around balcony on the sixth floor. Drinks in the afternoon, coffee in the... More

We recently spent 10 days in Italy and had only one bad experience. We took a cab from the airport and did not realize that we should have requested the flat rate to the hotel of 25 euros plus the luggage charge. When we arrived the cabbie charged 45 euros! Being that I was running short on money and needed... More

Very nice, older property but, well cared for. Great location, plenty of restaurants along the waterfront and a short walk into downtown and shopping areas. The staff was usually attentive and polite. Used the breakfast buffet twice. The first day it seemed a bit disorganized, tables dirty, no one greeting guests and assigning tables - a free for all with... More

This is an old hotel with indifferent staff much in need of an attitude readjustment as well as an interior decorator. The common rooms are astonishingly plain. Sorry looking. We visited the other hotels along the waterfront, and they were way more luxurious. Unlit stairways, drab halls, halls used as storage. We are Starwood gold members. It will come as... More

Stayed here for three nights visiting Capri and the Amalfi coast. A hotel in the grand hotel style with wooden floors, high ceilings, elegant public rooms. Stayed on points, room didn't have much of a view, but was very large and very comfortable. Large bathroom with a good showerhead, nice amenities. Huge walk-in closet with a safe. Beds firm, very... My wife and I stayed one night at this hotel before going to Ischia. It was a way stop for us between Naples Airport and the Regina Isabella Hotel. I was celebrating an important birthday and had made the reservation almost a year ahead of time. I knew prior to arriving that the staff was basically indifferent to any questions... More

We stayed here as a couple for a one night stop over. As we had arrived quite late, we only had time to eat at the top floor restaurant. I was hoping for some good Italian food, away from the all the tourist traps and something rather special for €35EURO a head. It was rubbish. If you ever go here,... More

Classic hotel in nice area of Naples, close to the city centre and restaurants. We only stayed one night, but the room was big and spacious, with a lovely view of the Vesuvio. Bar on the rooftop is cool for drinks at sunset. Service was ok.

The exterior of this hotel is classic and beautiful. The common areas are very elegant and formal. Two doormen helped with our luggage. We had a large room on the side of the building with a little balcony. If we walked out on the tiny balcony and looked to the side we could see the harbor. The floors were highly... More
